You do realize these "walls" tend to vanish once the the price gets close to them, right?
What would be the motive for somebody doing that? Why would they try to create a false sense of support at a certain price? |

What would be the motive for somebody doing that? Why would they try to create a false sense of support at a certain price? The theory goes that by creating a bid wall, a market participant who intends to sell can get a higher price for his coins. |

Wonder what that guy knows that we don't... hopefully nothing too terrible  Not fantastic news for BTC bulls but kinda reassuring that, so far, at least, the markets can accommodate a sell-off this large without a flash-crash. Anyhow looks like maybe he completed his order or decided that's enough for now @119btcusd. |
