 Bitcoin is currently dominating he market and is on the lead on both the market and the valuation. Ethereum however has potential for the future and can one day be a giant in the crypto industry as it develops its operating system

No more comparison for me since both investment are showing good trends now and I earn in both of them, both have their unique importance.

While both Bitcoin and Ethereum are powered by the principle of distributed ledgers and cryptography, the two differ in many technical ways. For example, the programming language used by Ethereum is Turning complete whereas Bitcoin is in a stack based language. Other differences include block time (Ethereum transaction is confirmed in seconds compared to minutes for Bitcoin) and their basic builds (Ethereum uses ethash while Bitcoin uses secure hash algorithm, SHA-256). However, from a general point of view, Bitcoin and Ethereum differ in purpose. While Bitcoin is created as an alternative to regular money and is thus a medium of payment transaction and store of value, Ethereum is developed as a platform which facilitates peer-to-peer contracts and applications via its own currency vehicle. While Bitcoin and Ether are both digital currencies, the primary purpose of Ether is not to establish itself as a payment alternative (unlike Bitcoin) but to facilitate and monetize the working of Ethereum to enable developers to build and run distributed applications (ĐApps).

In sum, Ethereum is an advancement based on the principle of blockchain that supports bitcoin but with a purpose that does not compete with Bitcoin. However, the popularity and rising market capitalization of Ether brings it in competition with all cryptocurrencies, especially from the trading perspective. Currently, the market cap of Ether (ETH) is more than Ripple and Litecoin, although it’s far behind Bitcoin (BTC). On the whole, Bitcoin and Ethereum are different versions using the blockchain technology, and are set to establish themselves, driven by different intentions.

Bitcoin and ethereum have great potential in the future, thats what i am believe. But with higher price on bitcoin, I am prefer holding on ethereum because ethereum used by many platform and I am believe ethereum can reach $1200 again and maybe can higher

I think they serve different purposes, and therefore think we should support both projects.   I believe both will continue to flourish.

Both are good and quite promising but I will go with bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most powerful cryptocurrency right now and has prove its dominance for many years. Although ethereum is good the only downside is it is not as widely accepted and as popular as bitcoin. Bitcoin being the first cryptocurrency means it is more popular than any cryptocurrency out there. Ethereum has its good qualities as well like being more stable than bitcoin and you can't go wrong with that.

I always compare the price of bitcoin and etherum, why can't etherum pass the bitcoin? after I read and studied it, it turns out the basic theory that affects the price of crypto is supply and demands. we take the example of bitcoin, bitcoin supply is 21 million, and now its circulation is almost reaching the limit and demands on bitcoin is very high makes its price rise to the moon, because it can be called as a rare asset. whereas etherum, the supply of etherum is unlimited, and although demands of high etherum even pass through bitcoin, but the price of etherum is difficult to pass the bitcoin because unlimited supply of etherum.

As of now, you can say that Bitcoin is the king of the crypto. But that is not going to remain so forever. For example, the market dominance of Bitcoin has once again fallen below the 40% mark. This is close to the all-time lows (I guess the all time low was 32%, which was reached in December 2017).

I guess both have the same potential in growth but I am more in favor of bitcoins. Sure, bitcoins are expensive to transfer and is slow to transact with, but I'm pretty sure there are kinks that can be addressed once these problems have been erased. Bitcoins will be perfected once we get these problems taken away.

I think, Bitcoin and ethereum has the same promising future. They both has the same high value that can help for the future. Even though Bitcoin has the highest value of all, I know eth can do it. And the addition is they both have a fast transaction.

Surely i will pick bitcoin over ethereum because the former is stable, tested through time, and very resilient and dominant in the crypto world. Bitcoin is also proven of coming back whenever it encounters a dip on its price. The current price now reaches to 8K which means more investors are trusting bitcoin too.

I think bitcoin is better because bitcoin aims to be a medium of wealth storage, digital gold, and ultimately a globally adopted currency that can repair or replace conventional money to some extent. While the goal of Ethereum is to become the computer of the world. Bitcoin comes first and is very popular today.
