I did a little analysis using the historical snapshot tool. I used the coinvalues from MAT (exactly 1 year ago) and compared it with the current ones. These are my findings:

Development Top 1-100 marketcaps (weighted to absolute marketcap): +1002% (x10)
Top 101-200: +1847% (or x18)
Top 201-300: +4805% (or x48)

However, from the Top 1-100 only 7 coins disappeared, from the Top101-200 18 coins disappeared (!), from the Top201-300, 12 coins disappeared.

All in all, lower marketcap = higher returns but more risk. Nothing new. What's new is that the real low marketcaps back then (<100K or Top>200) have had far higher returns than the coins with a cap between (600K - 100K, Top101-200) while less coins got delisted.

Tell me what you think, did the situation change due to the number of coins/tokens (MAT = 623, now = 1158)?
