TRUMP
TOKENS

The Ethereum Asset backed by
Trump's Impeachment
or
his Full Presidency

Trump Tokens are two ERC20 compliant  Ethereum smart contracts that represent bets on two mutually exclusive outcomes in the real world: Either Donald Trump being impeached or him governing a full first term. With the Trump Tokens, i.e. the Impeachment Token and Full Term Token, you can invest in the outcome of these events. Well, ICO investments are a gamble, this one in particular! But here the rules and the outcomes are clear: You profit if you bet on the correct event and you lose your investment otherwise. This is it, not more, but no less! Large discounts up to 30% for early investors!

How to invest?

Visit www.trump-tokens.com to buy Tokens or send your ETH directly to

0xd51c109110e7ccb7f6b84ddd2485c2f8e2753415 to buy Impeachment Tokens
or to
0x67119bbdc1683df2ad85ccea4304619f5d62e000 to buy Full Term Tokens.

Please, use a gas limit of at least 200,000 units to successfully complete the purchase.

How many Tokens exist?

There are exactly 2 million Tokens available in total. In other words, the sum of both types of Tokens (Impeachment and Full Term) is at most 2 million. If 2 million Tokens are sold the initial coin offering (ICO) ends. However, how these 2 million are distributed among the two types of Tokens depends on the market and the buyers. For example, if you, the buyers, think that impeachment is much more likely than a full term, there could be 1,800,000 Impeachment Tokens sold and only 200,000 First Term Tokens.

The ICO is open for exactly 222 days. Afterwards buying tokens is no longer possible.

How much do the Tokens cost?

The price of both Tokens is always equal, however, it increases with the number of Tokens sold. So you should buy as early as possible to get the cheapest price. Initially the price is 0.069 ETH per Token, but it increases by 0.0001 ETH each 6600 Tokens sold. Hence, finally the price for the very last Tokens is 0.099 ETH. Note that we deduct a small vigorish of 2.5% from each buy order. Selling your tokens later on for a profit is free of charge (except the usual gas costs, of course).

How and when can I sell my Tokens back to redeem ETH?

In case Trump governs a full term, you can sell your Full Term Tokens back to the contract for a profit. If Trump is impeached or in any case he does not make it through the entire first term, you can sell your Impeachment Tokens and profit. Note that the Tokens that backed the wrong event become worthless and funds are distributed among the Token holders of the opposite winning event proportional to the holder's share.

The Full Term Token wins automatically on the 19th of January 2021 (one day before Trump's official end of term). The Impeachment Token wins if Trump does not make it through the first term. Impeachment is automatically
confirmed
by using the http://www.oraclize.it/ service. No action or trust in the Token authors or investors holding Tokens is needed for this confirmation! For details see the FAQs at www.trump-tokens.com.

Is the source code of both contracts available?

Yes, of course, the source code of both contracts is available for inspection on Etherscan: Trump Impeachment Token and Trump Full Term Token

So get your Full Term or Impeachment Tokens today at www.trump-tokens.com!  Wink

The chance of someone checking almost 2000 lines of code in order to place a bet is zero. Cheesy

But interesting initiative.

Thanks  Smiley

The first 1000 lines are the standard oraclize API, so the contracts themselves are just about 800 lines (starting at line 1027) and half of it is comments, anyway.
So it's not that bad, but yeah most people won't check it  Grin.
But it's more a matter of good manners to publish the source, we wouldn't interact neither with a contract whose source code is unknown  Wink.

By the way, we extensively tested the contract, many unit + integration tests, and made several deployments on the Ropsten test network in the past months.
