What do you think guys? Bitmain has not announce nothing yet but when you think that we'll see a 18-20 TH/s miner come out.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I think this is a useless thread because it has been asked over and over already.

Also, there is no S10 coming.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

I think this is a useless thread because it has been asked over and over already.

Also, there is no S10 coming.

correct it would be the s-11  and it will not be released until this screen shot below  changes
look at the image note the s-7  is a money maker  for every dollar it makes it pays 45 cents and you keep 55 cents

so  when that changes to 95 cent and 5 cents   bitmain has an incentive to release an s-11

if you look at this from a money angle  the s-7  is a huge money maker.

but if you realize no one looks at what is really mining  it could be all s-9's  and bitmain  would be making a shit ton extra.

so they certainly have zero need to kill off this s-7 cash cow.

as I can not believe  they use all s-7s  some must be s-9's  they have no one audit it.

so  at op just check  on the s-7 at hashnest and wait to see 90% +  for your answer.

if most of the s-7  they sell on hashnest is s-9  they make 30 cent extra on every dollar the so called s-7 earns

So Phil  your idea is they make   very little  if the s-7's  are truly mining.

Lets say 100,000 usd a day  of which 45,000 is their fee  when know they jack power to 8 cents vs 5 cents   so  the 45,000 fee is 30,000-35,000 cost to them  or a 10,000-15,000 dollar profit.
That is if they are perfectly honest.

If they have all s-9's    100,000 with a 45,000 fee if it was s-7  should be 20,000  that is 25,000 a day extra  along with the 10,000-15,000 so close to 40,000 in their pockets
Even if it is only some s-9's and some s-7's  the 10,000-15,000  could be 25,000 a day.

So we simply won't be seeing an s-11 for years.

you won last night beat the twins.

and that is pretty much why bitmain will not be making an s-11 for public release any time soon.

Oh they may do it internally, but for a public s-11  someone like GMO from Japan  needs to put out a beast  maybe a video card style  using 200 watts and doing 8th.

And no, there probably will NEVER be a Antminer S10 model, though I anticipate a S11 model in ballpark 2 years.
