If I am you, I would go for already working and well-known coins, such as ETH or NEO. Then some with a great potential (even known, as Waves or Stellar). Others are difficult to predict as you don't know what will happen tomorrow. We need to be informed about the new coming projects and then pick some of them by our own preferences.

You shouldn't invest in high market cap coins like people have suggested. Those coins are great, but they are less likely to have those multipliers than a solid low market cap coin.

The best coin isn't always the best investment, it depends what value you get them at.

i don't think i'd enter any alt with a 5-10 year mind set.

bitcoin has a chance because it has history and trust and crypto as a whole has a requirement for a reference coin. to an extent it's immune from technical superiority.

everything else is fair game. some coins have good ideas. with 5-10 years of development the chances are someone will come up with something that does the same ideas much, much better.

Yes, with today's technology there are many advances, every year there will be many things to be born and replace, the future has many interesting things ahead.

I think now for 5-10 years to make is not worth it. Everything changes in just a couple of months. So that you can earn in the short term. As for the coins, I would have collected everything and waited.

All people tend to speculate on short-term moves but I am more interested in tokens that will go up x times over the next couple of years...

so to say, the Amazons and Googles of the crypto world.

Which coins are REALLY GROUNDBREAKING in your eyes and why?

I mean Bitcoin started the whole thing but technically there are so much better, safer, faster, more anonymous coins that should take over in the long run.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

For sure the long-term investments are bitcoin, ripple and etherium. They are the less risk averse and mostly everybody have them in portfolio.

there is no guarantee that coins can exist for so many years. the wave gradually decreases. there are so many news, so even the market is not so much reacting to them. so in long term you can only buy for 2-3 years ahead
