The top 10 coins on coinmarketcap is surely a good long term investment because I think they will not easily go down to be a shitcoin as they have a big market cap and have lot of connection with the crypto industry so for sure after holding these coins will give you a good fortune in the future.

I believe what you just mention but the most coin i think is eth, eth. Eth is next to bitcoin many years later on eth may compete with bitcoin. Eth is safety and very effecient to use and alsl their transactilns unlike the bitcoin. Every alt coin increase in price when the time comes it is just matter of time, waiting for the coins to reach its estimated value. Choose a coin that has a low price but has a great project

I mean Bitcoin started the whole thing but technically there are so much better, safer, faster, more anonymous coins that should take over in the long run.

I believe that ethereum coins will be really good for long term investment because there are a lot of people today who are interested on ethereum due to its cheaper price but with good potential.

0x Project for sure! Decentralized exchanges are the future of crypto - even Bitfiniex which clears $300 million every day is building on top of the 0x protocol. Expect a hug pump at the very least when that announces in a month or two.

For long-term investments, I would choose Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple. In the long run, these coins must give high returns on investments. Also, these coins can be used for accumulating your income from other volatile crypto assets. This is my choice.

For those who are capable of holding a coin for long term investment,. there are very good coins for that purpose in the crypto space. Even aside the top altcoins that many consider to be good, there are also new ones that i believe will last longer than expected. Some of them are; OMX, XYO, MTC and some others.

I choose waves, cause waves that's grown astronomically, it doesn't try  replace bitcoin in future its not possible I think, but after btc and eth this is best for me, Waves gives people and exchanges a way of just digitizing and asset.

I watched one of the YouTube videos of "In it for the Money" and learned that the best coins to purchase for long term are those which are undervalued usually under a dollar. Meaning, these are coins with a relatively low supply and a low market cap. These coins have lots of room for growth which means they can generate huge profit! i don't think i'd enter any alt with a 5-10 year mind set.

bitcoin has a chance because it has history and trust and crypto as a whole has a requirement for a reference coin. to an extent it's immune from technical superiority.

everything else is fair game. some coins have good ideas. with 5-10 years of development the chances are someone will come up with something that does the same ideas much, much better.

Yes I agree. I would recommend investing in bitcoin. It's proven and tested. Bitcoin's price will just keep on increasing as years goes by. Surely it will have some dumps along the road, but in the long run, you will surely get a lot of profits.

I continue to monitor the progress that is on Ethereum. I see that its development is so increased that Ethereum is very capable to be relied upon. so it's pretty good to have and will be very capable to be a much more future.
