No no,
King of the Mountain is long-term. King of the Hill is more fast paced for snipers.

Best of both worlds.

If you don't like sniping, I suggest King of the Mountain because most people get multiplied throughout the day

EDIT: Both games are running just fine now. No problems now that I've offset them by a minute. Go Game!

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Hill is pretty dead until around 11pm EDT. Mountain is a better bet because the round lasts longer and you have more time to get your bet multiplied by 1.5 if you are just starting out.

Lol, no.  18 seconds is confirmed to be impossible as a "valid" bet.  The script takes 16 seconds to run, and bets that get to the address before this are either applied to previous round or lost to the void.  MBC + the bet script takes between 5-15 seconds to confirm the payment and place your bet in to the database.

You obviously have figured out the exact second to send your payment to ensure first play each time.

Wooooo, just spent 13 hours last night working on a last minute PHP project for work.  Tongue

Starting on a new Bitcoin game, though it's going to take some time to set it up. I'm hoping that it will be fresh and fun. Stay tuned through next week after I catch up on my sleep  Smiley

I think the problem is that the "ponzi games" have lost their appeal to most people.... all of the ones I read about have little to no interest.

The problem is not that it's a "ponzi games", but instead there are too many with a limited about of players.

The only suggestions I have is to give the design a facelift, then start working on your search engine ranking. Once the SEO is pending, start doing some research on old ponzi type communities and contact the admin and see how much they charge for advertisement or maybe even a mass mail campaign. This will also help spread the BitCoin movement. It's not hard to get them to use BitCoin, since most of them already using eGold and LR.

What happens if someone presses "send coins" at the exact time the new round begins but due to slow network the money arrives only after the round has ended (e. g. 1 hour and 8 min. later)?
