User went to referring to itself as "me" than as "we". Who is "we" what entity are you representing?

Excuse me? What are you getting at? Yes I said to send "me" a pm letting "me" know if you sent donations to the btc address so I could get your tax write off if applicable. And I said "we" at the beginning in reference to the foundation I am a part of. Do you nitpick at everyone trying to raise money for a cause? I'm not asking for myself, I'm asking for the citizens of Oklahoma. Also I included many links and phone numbers for anyone wanting to donate that didn't want to donate BTC.

Nice tactic, Sounds very real but good trying! DO NOT DONATE VIA BTC. Go to the REAL Red cross

Why are you just staring at this? Just send it! 1MHZjADM41ttjbPUiTPYWGYGm45XLf8ZeS

Thank you very much  for the donation :Microguy: it is very appreciated. To everyone calling this a possible scam. I completely understand where you are coming from with this post being from a "newer" account, hence me putting multiple options for anyone that wanted to donate that didn't want to do it via BTC. I would never dream of stealing from someone and I would never use the misfortune of others to benefit myself!!!!! I know there are a lot of wrong doings and scammers around this forum but there are still people out there who have a soul guys. I never said anyone had to donate, just asking so I can try and help out too, so cut me a break! If something like this happened in your area, to your friends and families I would try and help you to raise funds too!

You answered everything but my question. Liars tend to get very offensive when you call them out to deflect the heat off themselves. What organization are you apart of? It's a simple question.

Doesn't seem reputable enough to trust him. Always check the reputation of a person and when you're giving away money to charity be suspicious if he does not have one.

All I see is someone who has listed a random bitcoin address claiming it is for a charity, and then listed a bunch of other links to real charities to make him seem legit.

+1. Quick and forward. OP, if you do have a good cause then gain some rep, show some proof and try to encourage people even if they won't donate through you that they'd convert bitcoin to fiat currency and then donate the money. Try to create a spark of enthusiasm to help those of need.

All I'm trying to do is help some people out but this has been one of the most unwelcoming communities I have ever been a part of. I left multiple options for anyone who didn't want to donate BTC. I would never use the misfortune of others to benefit myself. That is sickening. But so far around here everyone has nothing better to do than to slander my post. I understand there are a lot of scammers around this forum but some people out here still have a soul. If it were your all's community that was struggling to rebuild I would do the same to help you all out as well. I would like to thank everyone who has donated so far, your contributions will go a long way. And to those of you who have nothing better to do than to down and slander me I will pray for you. If you don't want to donate via BTC then feel free to call one of the numbers listed or visit one of the websites. That's why multiple options are available.

And still no answer. It is really unfortunate how these scammers take advantage of such disasters for personal gain.

What question didn't I answer? And please provide any documentation as proof behind your thesis of this being a scam? I didn't get offensive, it is just really disgusting how most of you have nothing better to do than slander someone. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. If you don't want to donate btc, then call a number or go to a website. It's really that simple. There is no reason for you to be calling me a scammer when I have done nothing wrong.

Luckily only around $4 has fallen to this scam.  And the OP already withdrew 0.01BTC for himself.   Cheesy

You represent a Bitcoin centric company called Coingator and are encouraging this nonsense?  How irresponsible.

I don't even bother with niceties when it comes to these types of threads. Just make sure the first post is "WARNING: POSSIBLE SCAM" then maybe a short paragraph telling people what to be aware of etc.

Obviously he/she would need to withdraw the money to make use of it if this whole thing was legit so I fail to see your point.

However, the dodging of the organization the OP is from is the more annoying factor. Sad world we live in..
