But I think the site could benefit from a complete redesign. The movable and resizeable grids are a step in the right direction though.

Oh it is a compliment meant it reminds me of the kind of trading software intensive traders use to monitor assets that said traders have 7-12 screens not just one lols Don't see them too much outside of stock trading though Institutional investors are the typical customers of this product, since the relatively high ongoing cost makes it unfeasible for individual investors with relatively small amounts of capital to purchase. http://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/bloomberg_terminal.asp

More experimentations with d3 - Bitstamp live depth, with animated transitions. Needs much more work, but I think the depth animation is better than what's currently on the main page of the site. http://bitcointicker.co/transitions/

Latest effort with d3. Now with price graph with a flashy blue pulse to show current value At some point I'll be adding the price history and depth tables to this page as well. http://bitcointicker.co/transitions/

Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you find the site useful Another small update... I've added the ticker bar to http://bitcointicker.co/bitstamp/ giving an overview of the current price across a number of exchanges.
