Hey,

I am trying to use the advanced search functions for "Message age between x and y days" and even though I search for posts older than 6 months, I still get returned posts from November.

Similarly, when I sort the posts from oldest to newest the top results are not necessarily the oldest.

Am I doing something wrong in my search? Would appreciate any help on this.

Thank you!

Similarly, when I sort the posts from oldest to newest the top results are not necessarily the oldest.
- On the last column (Date Posted), the indicated dates shows the dates that those respective threads (that had the search results [posts]) were created.
- Since you had it at "oldest topics first", then what you're seeing in the top, is composed of the oldest results/post (for that particular keyword). You can try and click the above line of each quotes from the results and you'll be able to clearly see it's functioning the way it supposed to be.

No, you're doing everything correctly (with a bit of misunderstanding for how results are shown).
