As a test of my new Nano S, I just tried to transfer some Bitcoin BTC. When I tried to transfer the Bitcoin (held in my ledger Nano S) I noticed something strange. My device was asking me to confirm "output #1" with the correct BTC amount and address and because the amount and address we're correct I confirmed the transaction. Then right after the device said "output #2" (very scary) with a BTC amount equal to what would be the remaining amount in my account and the address was not known to me. I did reject that confirmation and the entire order failed. Does the same when I re-try using different amounts. I am afraid to go any further.
I have made sure that my Chrome and the Ledger Bitcoin wallet are the latest versions, because I read that someone else had a similar problem and updating cured it.
One thing that I did notice is that the Nano Bitcoin Wallet says “Bitcoin Segwit” on the top right side. Maybe this has something to do with it?
I would appreciate any help as I am NOT going to do anything further until I am sure what is happening here.
