To be honest, Keepkey is quite expensive and large... and essentially does exactly the same job as the other two... As for Trezor or Ledger Nano S... the differences between the two aren't really that great, they generally have the same features (if implemented slightly differently)... so I would suggest that your decision will generally come down to personal preference (and most likely price ) Price: Trezor €89 vs. Ledger €58 Form Factor: Trezor's Square-ish design with "larger" screen and front mounted buttons vs Ledger Slim USB stick swivel design with side mounted buttons AltCoin Support: both support most common coins Colour: Trezor comes in three, Ledger in pretty much one Availability: can be a bit hit and miss for both... Trezor seems to be slightly easier to buy immediately Ben over at "BTC Sessions" on Youtube has a fairly decent 3-way review of these hardware wallets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_LcJ3ccV4sFor the record, I own both a Trezor and a Nano S...

Trezor is my hardware wallet of choice, but that's mostly because it was the only game in town back then. Nonetheless I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.
I guess it mostly breaks down to price, availability and alt coin support. If you're looking to get into alts you should definitely get a look at which alts are supported, lest you get disappointed that the alt of your choice is not available. If you're just going to stick with BTC, either hardware wallet should be fine.

Ledger seems to be a better option! Half the price, same features!

I got 2 nano and I really like them. I just bought to Nano S because on the nano I can't sign a message so I guess it's even going to be better.

I have a KeepKey. Wouldn'd buy it again. The wallet is unsatisfactory, not to say stupid.

On Ledger Nano S and Ledger Blue yes. But you'll probably have to add it as a custom token to MyEtherWallet, lest your token balance won't be displayed. See here for details: https://ledger.groovehq.com/knowledge_base/topics/which-altcoins-are-supported-by-the-nano-s-and-the-blue

I tend to buy Trezor since it is originaly from Czech rep., my birth coutry but that is all present in the market more hardware wallets are available so once you have to check and take best wallet for using trezoer and ledger nano s is the best and secure wallet. i would like to prefer ledger nano s is the best wallet so try to once it. from this wallet to we have to transfer our money securely and receiving also more secure. for that you have to try once ledger nano s wallet. it is easy to carry any where in the world.

https://preorder.trezor.ioThe Trezor 2 is coming in January. It looks dead cool. I can't help but wonder what vulnerabilities might yet be uncovered with any hardware wallet. I know it's a long shot but there's always something waiting to be uncovered. With a paper wallet created in the right way there is no attack vector conceivable.

At close to twice the price of the current Trezor (and more than twice a Nano S), I can't say I'm overly enthusiastic about it... Wooo a colour touchscreen I don't see myself updating from the current one to be honest.

No reason not to own both a Trezor and Nano S. Trezor has the better UI experience while Nano S covers a few more altcoins. You can use a Trezor with one hand using two to press the buttons on a Nano S gets old. KeepKey started as a Trezor fork and never caught on like the other two.

Just curious why do you keep mentioning this whole "one hand vs two hands" thing? It is totally possible to use the nano with one hand... I do it all the time... In fact, I've never used 2 hands to operate the nano:

I tried and it works (though quite problem to push both buttons simultaneously .... but that just need practice I guess) When purchased ledger I tried to restore the wallet (to check if the seed works). Even using both hands it was annoying ... doubt you would able do this using one .

@HCP I own all the hardware wallets I seem to collect them:) The user experience is best for me with Trezor YMMV. I was always leery of KeepKey because they were just a fork of Trezor kind of sleezy making a business off Trezor's work you know? Remember Case hardware wallet that stopped working after a year? Trezor and Ledger are in business for the long haul. I bought one of the original Trezors back in 2014 still works fine.

Digital Bitbox is very good but they don't support the altcoins like Trezor and Ledger Nano S. Claiming your Bitcoin Cash was more complicated with the Bitbox than with Trezor e.g.

I was tempted to get a Digital BitBox... But as mentioned, not much in the way of altcoin support and I had some non trivial altcoin holdings when I was shopping for a hardware wallet. Might still get one just to try it out... I like the idea of being able to backup to microSD cards
