The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

lol, if you really want loans I suggest you use CoinLenders, it's great if you want a real loan, and not just scam people.

Is it worth mining coins? I have not really looked into it but I am considering it...I just got scammed by somebody on localbitcoins.com for a bit over $280 ;( Do I need a beast PC to mine?

If you want to try mining, there is also the possibility of mining alt-coins (such as Litecoin) and then trading them for bitcoins. Might net more than if you just mined bitcoins directly.

Also if you're pooling, you don't need a beast machine, you can start out with pretty much anything and earn a few (fiat) cents per day.

I'm on litecoinpool with a crappy cpu and gpu earning myself about 0.3 LTC per week. Rich!
