I recently heard about salt, and from what I've heard it's one of the few altcoins which will have a real word usage (will be used to get a loan in cryptocurrency world). Also Erik Voorhees is involved in their team, and he's a big name to have on any cryptocurrency team.
They sold their tokens in discounted phases, and the last few tiers are being sold for $3 (%70 discount), $5 (%50 discount) and $7.5 (%25 discount) in a few hours.

1.5 million SALT @ $5
1.0 million SALT @ $7.50
In the event that purchases exceed the available inventory of discounted Membership, an additional 25,000 SALT Memberships will be available at the full retail price of $10 on Tuesday. The rest of the SALT Memberships allocated for retail will not be available until Q42017 when the platform goes live and the SALT Memberships will initially retail for $10 also.
Previously in the pre-sale approximately 10 million SALT were sold at $1:50. Early adopters who assisted with the build out of the concept were also able to purchase earlier in the year approximately 35 million SALT at $0.25 and 5 million SALT at $0.75. For more information please see the post from August 11 from Caleb Slade @dontchawanna The total number of SALT sold in the pre and private will be fully audited following the private sale and disclosed - we have not specified the exact duration of the audit, nor would that be wise. A SALT wallet on the dashboard will be available 15 after after audit. The SALT wallet will have the ability to send the SALT where the member wants or just leave it safe on site for use on the SALT Lending Platform later.
SALT Membership may be purchased with Bitcoin, Ethereum, or any cryptocurrency supported by ShapeShift.
While accounts are being approved the ID verification API is not turned on and is being worked on by the devs right now - it'll be fixed by end of Monday *sigh* That is why you'll see "unverfied" in orange on your dashboard and "Temporarily Disabled
Please check back shortly to verify your identity." Everyone will be checked against the OFAC list and to purchase more than $2000 you will need your ID to be verified. We'll update this as progress is made today.
Holding a place in line does not guarantee that a discount will be available when you are approved. Unfortunately, if the Memberships are sold out before you are approved you will have to wait until we start selling at the full retail price. Retail sales will begin after the audit and distribution of the discounted Memberships. It's first come first served by time stamp - so you will have to be online and available from 8:00 am. The queue will work like this- If you've already been approved and participated in past tiers then you'll be able to purchase as soon as it opens on tuesday at 8am. If you haven't yet participated you will see your number in line in the main dash view (where the eth and btc addresses will be displayed). You will see your number get closer to #1 and when it does, you're ETH and BTC addresses for purchases will be displayed. SALT will be approving new participants in order and at a pace that can be handled by our system and the BTC/ETH blockchains. Anyone who has top referrals will get bumped in front of anyone with out referrals. So the top referrals will go to the front of the line.
