i can see eth , MTRc , paypal and credit card  but as your platform is complete on digital currency and block chain technology then why you include payment method as paypal . As there will be charge back on paypal also in cc which is not good for any business live on block chain technology, and as also why btc payment menthod is not included ..

Wonderful question. We do not want to restrict our users to a limited set of payment options. The payment methods that you saw in the prototype (ETH, MTRc, Paypal, Credit Card) are there to demonstrate that we would like to support as many types of methods as possible to make it convenient for our users. It is true, that paypal is costly, but it can be a method of choice for certain users (for example in those jurisdictions where cryptocurrency is banned). BTC is also an option and we plan to include it too.

This is also why we introduce MTRc. On one hand, we need a convenient proxy token to use in our processes and transactions; on another hand, it should be independent enough to appreciate in value in direct relation to the growth of the ecosystem. Basically, the bigger the ecosystem is (buyers, sellers, partners, 3rd party service providers, etc.), the more valuable MTRc becomes. Of course, to transact directly in MTRc will be cheapest.

This projects is very interesting as it will be traded globally which is very useful to each and everyone of us who have business that want to reach all the country.
It also focus on tight security which is very important to secure all the transactions that will be created by the customers.

The explanation also about the token is very informative which will help us to understand it clearly. The distribution of the token is also a big factor as they divided it into four category that starts from the highest until the lowest. But in my opinion I think it is better to distribute their token with the same percentage to make it balance.

I would love to be a part in the pre sale of the token as the price is very promising and I am sure that it will continue to grow with the help of the team.

My understanding is that your crypto token is not the mandatory currency to trade on the platform (you can trade in fiat currency as well), but it is mandatory to access to the platform, right? what would be exactly its role?

MTRc tokens will have the role of a trade enabler and of a third-party application enabler on the platform, meaning that every user would be able to execute trade real-time, globally and in a cost-effective way. While you can also trade in other currencies, fees will be charged in MTRc. The MTRc could also be used for charging usage fees for third parties’ solutions developed on the platform.

For example, take the case of Binance platform where tokens get traded, you can use other currencies like ETH for Tx cost but if you use BNB, you get 50% discount.

Similarly, there are many ways we can incentivize using MTRc in our platform; We'll come up with more innovative ways to make the platform and MTRc as valuable as possible.

I finally understood that using a token for global trade might be a great deal. The risk in traceability is lowered and made more manageable.

ModulTrade uses smart-contract technology to manage a supply chain logistics and working as an interface towards the supply chain finance. At this moment there is a lack of this kind of interfaces in the market, meaning this that there is an opportunity in today’s market.

The roadmap section is clear and easy to understand, all the milestones seem to be completed and we just need to wait the next ones in order to see if the idea forges a new procedure in supply chain enterprises. If just one of the big starts only a demo ModulTrade will “moon”.

Personally, I would like to see a better background on ModulTrade team in order to have more confidence in the project.

Let me share some thoughts on MTRc value (ModulTrade token) https://modultrade.io/

1.Every trade executed by SMEs on ModulTrade platform requires MTRc
- to pay commission in all cases (for Smart-contracts or additional services)
- to pay for goods in case the trade contract is set in MTRc

2. Most SMEs require money to start buying (more info here https://www.worldbank.org/en/topic/financialsector/brief/smes-finance)
- To help SMEs ModulTrade and MTRc holders will provide MTRc to SMEs based on their Reputational Capital
- ModulTrade introduces Trade&Reputational Network -  for every user Limit in MTRc and related fee will be calculated (Reputational Capital) and will be changed based on user trade behaviour.

3. Merchants are waiting for SMEs to start buying
- ModulTrade will agree with Merchants to accept MTRc for the goods (we are planning a pilot with our German partner https://www.contorion.de/)
- and ModulTrade will buy back MTRc from Merchants they got from SMEs (for fiat or cryptocurrency)
- and ModulTrade will provide MTRc to SMEs - see point 2 above.

While there is a limited number of MTRc distributed (~$5-15mln equivalent), Every next $10mln trades served on ModulTrade will require equivalent of $2-3mln in MTRc (or up to $5-7mln in case of wide MTRc acceptance)
simple mathematics will give >50% value increase for every new $10mln trades ( or 2-3 in case of wide MTRc acceptance)

We expect >$50 mln to be served by end of 2019 .
and you may calculate the value of MTRc in this case ($50/$10*(0.5 or 3)) = 2.5-15 times . It is not a promise but what we expect

We are, I believe at the dawn of a new world. It is not us, at Modultrade, who say so. It is organizations like HSBC . Look at their publicity about the new commerce players: Micro and Small Businesses. How do you think, these players, will address the markets? alone? with HSBC?

So here is our vision, put in simple words:

1.Players like Modultrade are the new normality: No bla-bla! We do one thing (trade finance) and we do it right! Why? because we are experts in doing and in transforming it!

2. Means, like MTRc, are the new missing  chain, between the virtual world of e-Commerce, and the real world of the assets traded. No third parties, no overheads, no empty talk! you pay what you get! MTRc is the only key to this immense new world => it will become scarce ... and valuable.

3. Micro and Small Businesses that Modultrade is enroling have valuable products and services. they want to conquer the world easily. Modultrade will be their Gateway, MTRc their key!
 
4. Ecosystem partners that Modultrade is bringing, have today a real problem in addressing our market : 400+ Mln SMEs. Either they are too big (and they need an intermediary) or too small and they need to scale up. in either case, they need MTRc to access the market.

Don't you think adding more coin option will lead to less using your token will be less as most people used currency right now is bitcoin and then Eth so if they see eth then they will not either buy your token from any exchange and use in your system .

Just found out about the project. I've read through every post in this thread, and it seems very promising project due to the following factors:
 - a clearly identified need/opportunity to disrupt the costly 3rd-party costs in trade
 - the qualifications and experience of the project team
 - last but not least, the interaction and responses from the team members in this thread. It is clear that they believe in this project, and can clearly articulate answers to the questions here

As a final point, I'm surprised that a similar project hasn't been implemented until now (or I just haven't found out about). One of the big selling-points of ETH was smart-contracts and it would seem intuitive that this could be great for trade. Is it that other projects haven't targeted SME's?

Hi - My understanding is that there's going to be an escrow handled by the smart contracts. Basically, according to the white paper:
1) The Buyer deposits funds into the smart contract which acts as an escrow agent.
2) Funds are locked in the smart contract until release conditions are met.
3) Funds are released to the Seller upon successful delivery in a specified time horizon.
4) Funds are released to the Buyer if no delivery occurs in a specified time horizon.
