Cryptocurrency is gaining popularity in the whole world as well as in INDIA.
It is a myth that Indian are not much aware of Bitcoin or other crypto-currency, Cryptos has gained huge popularity in last few weeks in India, especially among youth. Even traditional stock traders are also interested in investing cryptocurrencies.
However, no doubt, that there is a still some hesitation among people for crypto because of the unclear stand of the Govt. about its legality and FUD created by Indian Media about its BAN.
But no worries, it is estimated that Indian Govt will soon come out with specified rules and regulations about cryptocurrency trading in INDIA.

Ooopss OP maybe wrong,Indians excatly knows what the future potential of the crypto currency thats why they are keep investing on the crypto currency. But Indian finance mininster said that it is not a legal tender in their country but recently the Indian government initiated the regulation process by linking their Aadhar card to the local exchanges so this is the first step if they want to implement the taxes for crypto usage.

*BTW don't use unnecessarily the big fonts and red colour,it looks hard to read that.

Your post has irritated my eyes; don't use color, keep it simple.

You may be new into the cryptos but many indians are the early adopters of the cryptocurrencies. There are many crypto exchanges in the india which are running successfully and the number of new investors are increasing by each passing day. Indian government has not yet changed their stance, they didn't banned the cryptos completely, so there is nothing to worry about at this point.

World's major IT companies like Google, Microsoft and Adobe is run by Indian CEOs. Also one fourth of NASA engineers are Indian. Where have you been all these years? India is a supreme place for qualified professionals and that's the reason why Indians are the preferred employees among many European and US companies.

It's just because of our government, we are not getting proper opportunities. The government is run by such people who doesn't have the brain power to understand the blockchain technology. But Indians are pretty much active in this sector and making good amount of profits as well. Even though the government have taken the midway for now, but eventually will accept Cryptocurrency to be traded within India and provide a tax framework for us. It will take some time, but will happen for sure.

The people running the government are enough intelligent. The parties are playing 'fixed game' among them they just don't want to make the civilian  educated (so there was a protest to everything new),  they just do what is good for their own. That is why we a see each month a businessmen doing financial crimes but never get caught.

It's not like the Indian government is underestimating the power of Blockchain technology, in fact they are adopting it, IndiaChain, a blockchain network for digital certification of educational degrees, land records, electricity distribution, and it will be linked to IndiaStack, Aadhar project and then there is BankChain, a consortium of Indian and international banks. Obviously all these implementations would take some time, but if it gets rolled out, it would make India the biggest player in Blockchain implementation.

Since the 2013 warning and the recent budget speech, one thing is quite sure, the government has no idea on how to implement a cryptocurrency framework and the result, warnings, tax notices, and getting some banks to suspend the accounts of exchanges. There is a new committee working on formulating a draft law, report is expected to be submitted soon.

It's okay to be "newbies" with something. The Indian government must have an unclear and uncertain stand because they are still unfamiliar with cryptocurrencies.

My country first also didn't recognize cryptos to have legal tender. But now, they are slowly starting to adopt and recognize bitcoin now that they have gained more knowledge and there are numerous users within the country. The same may be for India. It's possible that in the future, India may start to make steps into adopting cryptos.

I disagree. They are very familiar with cryptocurrencies that's why last year there are members of the parliament who are calling for a ban or tighter regulations. Totally forget the name but he made noises last year. Its not clear what direction the Indian government, they are still neutral but I'm seeing positive direction though, they might put regulations though.

I'm glad that you are living in a crypto friendly county. I hope that your government adopt and embrace bitcoin, unlike nations for many reasons likely banning it. Yes, just like I said I have a feeling that India will make steps to regulation crypto. Just imagine one of the populous nation using bitcoin, it will be a big push for us.
