Hey guys, can someone help me please? I have not checked my MEC wallet since last year, now I updated to new version, logged in and no matter what - I cannot get any connection to the megacoin network (always a red sign that says "0 connections". What should I do?

I just transferred some coins and nothing happens since there is no connection established. Any suggestions on maybe which proxy etc I can use?

I hope someone can assist me.

What is that exactly? You are talking to an absolute noob when it comes to that stuff. A friend of mine handled all of it...but right now he is not available anymore so I have to figure out stuff myself, unfortunately.

I dont know how to handle any settings other than available in the wallet.

Basically, I just want to get rid of my Megacoins and get them out of my wallet so this case is closed: I got 24000 MEC and it would be a shame if they are wasted for nothing :/

According with https://chainz.cryptoid.info/mec/ (you can investigate more here), you send all the coins 1 year ago... did you encrypt your wallet before? or shared you private keys? or something similar? remember what did you did last year

After it got connected the wallet said that my crex24 transaction is „in conflict“ because of that wrong one that I never authorized - Completely weird! BTW: I never shared my private key to anyone - really strange...

Yeah it's so strange. I'm new in this crypto (less than a week) and it must be scary that coins disappear like this. It could be that your wallet was not encrypted, or somehow leaked to the wrong person... Maybe a security issue.... who knows?.

maybe some times ago your pc run a virus, and the only reason your coins were stolen is because your wallet wasn't encrypted with a password
I thus lost the BTC and ETH a couple of years ago
