Hi,

I've opened account with bitcointalk many many years ago.

I still have the Email and user name associated with the account but I can not get to reset the password.

if you have email it is so easy to reset password but other will think this account is hacked

Some mailers classify mails from bitcointalkforum as spam/junk, if you didn't add them to your contacts. So look also to spam or junk. All other actions would be not worth it for a newbie account with no activities. The probability, that your account was hacked, is quite low.
