I'm not sure what IOHK did with that regular Daedalus, but I should tell you that even that one synchronizes quite fast these days. I remember days when I had to wait for hours for it to start syncing, but that time seems to be over since the transition to Byron.

Daedalus 1.0.0 launched. It's arguably the most beautiful thing IOHK has ever released.

P.S. I'm as always long-term bullish on ADA, and have maintained my spot position. However, I wouldn't dare to add any leverage to it as testnet participants have earned way too much. We should expect a short-term dump right after those rewards go into mainnet.

I wouldn't worry to much about those rewards being dumped on the market because:

1. The liquidity on Cardano is very good and the market could absorb the coins sold.
2. I doubt the testnet rewards will be dumped, since the ones who can get rewards are the holders who had coins on their wallets at the snapshot time.

As I've got it that is completely new wallet with the own database which differs from that one relevant to old 0.15 version. If I install Daedalus 1.0.0 should I delete the old wallet or it is better to keep both on my computer to be on the safe side? What is the fastest  way to upgrade - import the old wallet or just  redirect installer to the old state directory? Does it have connectivity with the Ledger nano?

When I installed the 1.0 version, it automatically detected the wallet data of the last Daedalus wallet. I think yours should do the same. Once it detected that, I deleted my older version of the wallet. Everything looks normal so far.

Good points. However, I still believe that the rewards have remained higher than everybody's expectations, and that could cause at least some little sell pressure upon distribution.

Thanks, finally I have got my new Daedalus running and fully synchronized. However, after some thought, I have decided to keep the old version on my computer. AFAIK, 1.0.0 is not the end of upgrades and if the next ones will fail with it the old version may come into assistance. That was my thought in fact,  though I could be wrong.

In my case I have uninstalled the old Daedalus wallet.
You can never be enough cautious but if you don't use the wallet on the daily basis, there is no need for both imo. All you need is the mnemonic, sooner or later a working version will be out from the Cardano dev team.

Cardano coin is increasing it's the price whenever there is a trend in the market, so my question is how long it is going to take launching live Staking wallet. Whether there is any specific ETA because people are waiting for it, at the time of release, we might expect the price of the ADA will increase its price even higher value.
