Dogecoin Petition for Amazon

It is going to sign for Doge if the Amazon accept doge as the payment method. I think the price of doge will start increasing the market and many people will start buying doge coins in the market.

Doge is becoming a fighter for freedom. And it would rise a lot. But I think a international company like Amazon won't accept just a single coin but will accept many different coins at once! And Doge will be one of them because it has a prospering community.

Wow, nice news. If doge coin is accepted at amazon is open the way for being accepted of crypto currencies in the world. Soon or later , Etherum will be the same. I'm gonna buy more doge and ETH for now. Thanks for your information sir.

Woah sir. this is just a petition and theres no official statement from amazon about this so hold your horses. petitions are not always useful even if they gathered lots of

signatures, it doesn't give an assurance of good result so in case you're buying for a long term or waiting for the price to pump, you might wanna reconsider your decisions

Why would Amazon accept DOGE before they opt to accept the major cryptos like BTC, ETH and LTC? As much as I admire DOGE, it just doesn't make sense. Think of it from Amazon's perspective. They want to maximise profit/sales. The BTC ecosystem is much bigger and there'd be attracting a larger user base with BTC over DOGE.
Hopefully they choose to accept all major cryptos, including DOGE too.

It seems to me that this is another fake. I read on the forum a message stating that Amazon will accept payment in bitcoins. This did not happen. Someone writes these fakes for statistics or to warm up the demand for bitcoin. You will not succeed because users of bitcoin are resistant to fakie. Every day someone is posting and if you respond at all you can go crazy. Easier not to pay attention to them.

Sadly, it won't be. I wish it would, but currently their stance is clear. They don't want to accept BTC, which is the most popular cryptocurrency and has payments integrated with processors that do everything for you. All you have to do as a company is link your clients to these processors and you're all set. If they don't want that it's clear they find cryptos not worth the risk. Doge is sad

I am not negative about this but if there is a cryptocurrency that needs to be first accepted in amazon as a payment method is Bitcoin as it is the popular and the father of all cryptocurrencies in the digital world, but I am hoping also that Dogecoin can pass through this petition because it is true that its price as of now is much more stable and the transaction fees of it is more cheaper than Bitcoin. If this go through I hope amazon will decide that other cryptocurrencies will follow soon.

It's straight up ridiculous to even think Amazon would accept dogecoin as a payment method. I mean, Amazon is up till now not showing interest of adding any kind of crypto to their payment list. So why in the world would they add dogecoin if they aren't keen on adding bitcoin yet. A petition won't help that.

It is really hard for me to imagine for Amazon to accept dogecoin as a mode of payment,they being a very big store and the volatility the crypto currency market has,they are bound to loose big if they are to accept bitcoin or any other coin when the market crashes,so i can understand why they are not taking a concrete stand about it yet,but sure they could built a better front end solution for the problem and start accepting crypto currencies with the resources they have.

It would be hilarious if Amazon accepted Dogecoin before Bitcoin.
That would pump the exchange rate of Doge to the sky.

It would be, but it won't happen. Withe that doge update that made it basically worthless this coin has 0 chances of becoming accepted by any huge merchant.
It used to be worth like 5 times more in the past, even more than that at its peak. If Amazon doesn't want to accept Bitcoin it won't be interested in Dogecoin for sure.

Lately i have heared about Litecoin payment petition to Zalando probably. Dogecoin is fast learning so its step is reasoned approach.
I dont think so that amazon will accept dogecoin payment option so far, but hopefully any crypto coin will decide to accept in  further future.

I dunno why Dogecoin is being pushed, especially since that entire currency is constantly losing value since it has infinite inflation and it only worth money by the thousands of tokens. This seems to be the main way that the bag holders are going to try and recover any losses they may have had; they're going to try and inflate the demand for DOGE since it has no other value.

I do have to admit, though, that sponsoring that one NASCAR driver was a pretty cool thing they did, it's a shame nothing interesting has happened since then.

I think dogecoin is not the best option for amazon, the most reasonable coin will be bitcoin, bitcoin got more users and better popularity, but seems like amazon is not ready for bitcoin yet
I love to see any crypto currency to be integrated with amazon, it will be great for crypto currrencies users to see more big company interested in crypto currencies

Isn't going to end up doing anything, if Amazon isn't going to accept Bitcoin they're never going to accept some shitcoin like Dogecoin. This is one of the worthless coins that was only hyped due to it's name, and the memes behind it.

Don't sign this petition, if we want communities and companies and the real world to take us seriously. I think they will not accept it, even if it will take a million votes or petitions. Dogecoin was made for pure fun and entertainment, they could use that as a way of venture in cryptocurrency like dogecoin. Consumers could use dogecoin on their fun-themed items, and they could use that opportunity to sell dogecoin to the customer. But as of now, i don't think they will do that just because someone petitioned for it.

A petition to the best of my knowledge does not mean acceptance rather its an appeal which can either be accepted or rejected by the person who its being directed to and in this case Amazon. I don't see any big deal here and at the same time the acceptance of Doge coin as a currency when even bitcoin itself has not been given audience not to talk of consideration despite the popularity its has garnered over the years.

A very useless method do according to me. I dont understand why people are so excited about making crypto the mode of payments in e-commerce sites. Sure it will help the economy but lets face it - it will never happen unless Amazon or so officially do something to accept it. These petitions even if they manage to reach Amazon they will never think about it.

Dont you think how it will affect the company - Amazon accepting bitcoin/dogecoin is like they are accepting black money - even if that is actually false but to most people bitcoin & altcoins=black money/money for the hackers and ransomware.

Do you really think this person is the first one to give a petition to amazon to accept cryptocurrency? Do you think they are going to adopt some crypto which is used by not even 1% of whole population just following a petition signed by a few hundreds of people? Common grow up a bit into the practical world. Not everyone until now is mad behind crypto like we people are.
