The QKD hardware prototype will use a laser which is then split into two beams and measured after one of the photon beams is modulated. The measurement can then compare the difference between the modulated beam and the unmodulated beam. Since the light is split the photons remain "entangled." This iws why I chose to use Entanglement as the name.
