Why DENT price is always decreasing?

Despite having the #117 greater market cap, the token price is currently in a strong downtrend since January 10th 2018!

DENT is a very good and ahead of its time project, with an existing product. But even the very promising 2019 roadmap events are being unable to change this bearish trend.
Some of them include:

- Launching Voice Calls in China, reaching 15 Million Users.
- Enable trading of voice minutes
- 3 new exchanges for DENT token.
- 185 operators in 55 countries.
- 300 trading pairs on DENT Exchange.

I personally think that this downtrend soon or later will change, and DENT token will see a price increase.
But is there something that I missing here? Any contrary opinions?

Does dent do anything that other free apps do not already do? There is whatsapp and wechat not to mention skype. These tokens need to be cheap otherwise people won't use it

Like what every altcoins, it depends to the market and  to bitcoin itself. Bitcoin is on downtrend and going through bear market so all of these altcoins are related to it that makes them on downtrend.

Who knows if bitcoin goes on bull, DENT will also be going through its way. I saw this coin when there were a lot of articles about it but it didn't made me interested of buying it. Is your portfolio fully dependent and has higher part with DENT?

IMO, the only reason why Dent has decreased in value is because the market is bearish.
This coin has a good fundamentals so I won't be surprise if it will again pump hard like in the past.

Dent has really been in the downward trend and I bought dent this time last year when it is still in good price but now it completely dump.  I am not happy about the performance of this token because it has existing product and I was thinking that it is going to be a great investment decisions then but it wasn't but I still keep the units I have with the hope that it is going to recover in future.

The fall in prices is not only a problem of DENT coins, most coins on the market are now subject to a bearish trend. But the problem of DENT is that it has a large Total Supply, and with so many coins it’s hard to have a high coin price. Only one third of DENT coins are in circulation now and each emission of new coins into circulation will reduce the price of coins.

There is no a relationship with the bearish market but so many holders are dumping their dent and then put it into another platform or new icos. As you can see that how dent was getting a lot of decrease anytime but this coin still over valued for me.

I'm not sure whether it is over valued or not. Unlike other large number of ico's in the market dent has got a big community as well as utility. These days it is highly fluctuating and as most users mentioned the price of dent grew when the bitcoin was in the uptrend. Hope this grows with the bull trend of bitcoin.

I think DENT and other tokens already decrease until now. It is normally because happen to others too and not only DENT. That is why we must know where we must get out and take profit from a coin / token.

By the time it reached almost 1 billion dollars market cap, extremely overvalued.

I don't see it as a strange thing that the price of dent is decreasing in the market, because ever since we saw a move in the price of coins on the crypto market, we always see that other crypto coin tends to follow the price of bitcoin in the market, and once we begin to see a dump in the price of bitcoin, we automatically begin to see a drop in the price of other altcoin too. Though you also have to check the project to see if it's a good one.

It is impossible to reach a milestone in this year because already it was stay in a 100x dump then how it will going to moon again. Mostly all the investors are concentrate in good growing platform so this will never going to raise again in this year. May be some pump will possible on this year But continuous hype is unpredictable.

that is basically what nearly the whole altcoin market does, don't you think? they are always going down slowly and only have pumps in a short period of time, some of them take a couple of months to pump and some others only a couple of days.
there is no reason for it either apart from people loving the pump and dump concept since they can make money from it.

I think the main reason behind is because of the bear market not only dent suffer but also other altcoins especially ethereum . I think it's just a matter of following what bitcoin price. If bitcoin is at a low price then the rest will follow the same goes if bitcoin price pumps.

All of the benefits that you present here do not have a big effect on this bearish market and do not promise that it will be better than any coin king, indeed logically this is the effect of a bearish market and re-analyze deeply the chances are that people try to get out because they allow it to return if you hold a value that continues to fall, maybe you are also a victim of a DENT decline that causes panic, it is part of the risk and every altcoin superiority does not guarantee that in the future the team will promote again.

These announcements are good however there are many project who updated their and got a lot of partnership. ENJ and KNC with samsung which I believe is better than DENT. But we will never know once people started to adapt this project I even got some of this but it could be for a long term hodl rather than a quick trade.

I disagree, the bearish market makes most of the coins cheap and that also affects DENT.
Being undervalued or overvalued, well that only depends on how you evaluate the platform and it's development so far.
