I'm getting the following error messages when I start the official 0.3.23-beta client on Ubuntu 11.04 with Unity:

./src/gtk/toolbar.cpp(263): assert "bitmap.IsOk()" failed in SetImage(): invalid bitmap for wxToolBar icon

./src/gtk/toolbar.cpp(263): assert "bitmap.IsOk()" failed in SetImage(): invalid bitmap for wxToolBar icon

./src/gtk/bitmap.cpp(767): assert "IsOk()" failed in GetPixbuf(): invalid bitmap

I'm guessing I can safely ignore these error messages because they seem to be GUI related? The client seem to be running without problems (I haven't tested it much yet), aside from the blue mosaic graphic in the About Bitcoin dialog box. The problem seem to be Unity related because I don't get these error messages when running on a (also Ubuntu 11.04) computer that has Unity disabled.

You are right.

Unity doesn't play nice with BitCoin.
