At first glance they are trading p2p platform similar to local bitcoins. But I never heard about them until today.

Yeah,it`s pretty much the same like localbitcoins.Wallet and exchange platform.

I tried using paxful before 4 months and their support was horrible.I had to argue for 2 hours with a third

world guy with bad english who was their customer support.Maybe things are better now.

I read mixed reviews about paxful.Some good,very bad.

It's pretty much as davis mentioned the same as localbitcoins, except that it generally has more variety, less controls over ID verification, as well as shorter release times from sellers.

It's trusted IMO. I would use it without worry.

Honestly i new to hear about paxful scam,because some couple moth ago i read many people suggest paxful is legit site,and many people use it,is this site new to being scam or since long time ago?when i'm googling,not many article said paxful was scam.

I've used it to buy some Bitcoins using Paypal and was pretty satisfied with the service. Had to pay less fees than on Virwox, but this depends on the trader of course.

Didn't have to use their support yet so I can't comment on that.

I see some people calling it a scam, may I ask in what way? Deposites not showing up or something like that?

Few days earlier I searched about Paxil.com on Google and found some people claiming they got scammed. There was already ungoing topic about paxful.com maybe you can also read there more about it.

I actually really like paxful, a lot.   I get the impression that there are fewere members on pax than LBC, yet seems to have more options on accepted payment methods.   I dunno I could be wrong.

it is an exchange for BTC, but I will not prefer it as it is not that much established among bitcoin community so it mean people who have bitcoin have adopted much better exchanges than this one. If you really like to join an exchange for your exchanging currency or for trading then join an established exchange.

Wait, wait, if Paxful is a scam, then LBC is also a scam.   They are literally identical, except Paxful probably doesnt have the number of registered members as LBC, but to tell you the truth, most people from LBC also are on Paxful.

I trade on both, I've been on LBC for years, and i have only been on Paxful for about 4 months, but I have over 100 trades,  and so far I had an issue with one trade.  So even my experience on the site is identical to that of LBC.   

Paxful is a copycat site of LBC, i only joined because i heard a lot of people from LBC talking about it.

People can write anything on the internet good or bad. People cannot be pleased. I did some of my trades with Paxful but haven't got any issues at all. All of my trades was successful.

Paxful is a scam. Stealing both vendor and selling Bitcoins. They won't won't release  the coins to the seller nor the vendor.  Stealing people money

They will ban the vendor, take all his coins and won't even resolve issue with the Card owner.  Scam both Vendor and Card seller




The owner were caught with drug weeks ago in Miami, USA.

Paxful is no more scammy than localbitcoins.

There can't be a %100 safe p2p exchange service as long as FIAT is involved. There will always be trust farmers on those websites acting like they are providing a trusted service till they ain't. This is not Paxful's fault, it happens on localbitcoins too.

Unless there are %100 decentralized blockchain based exchanges where you can't scam or get scammed, this will never change. And this will never change because if you have FIAT on one side of the trade, it can't be 100% decentralized because FIAT side will always be centralized no matter what.

yeah, Paxful.com is not responsible for anything, but i know that localbitcoins.com works the same way.

I got scammed several times with amazon cards

when user buy btc with amazon gift card, uploads the photo and turned out card is not valid.
He opens the dispute claiming that i redeemed gift card, but i didn't.

Localbitcoin belives him and i lost my btc, you will not prove that gift cards was used by the moment he uploded them.

basically you can buy any gift cards, redeem them and open btc trade claiming that is was not u but seller.

From now own i user https://www.megachange.is/ru/ only, there is not such scam like Paxful.com or localbitcoins.com
