bloody hell, is there any normal seed node v2.0 ?

Hi, please try the nodes from here https://goo.gl/SHRuU7 (also provided in the FAQ section of our website). I update these often with the latest nodes.

FYI:

You used the command connect=  in your post above instead of addnode=.

By using connect=, those nodes will ignore all other nodes except the ones in the connect= .

You need to change this to addnode= otherwise anyone not in the connect= list will be blocked from your network.

Everyone should correct this asap so you don't segregate your network.

You are right about addnode and connect but as desynct mentioned above, connect was used to avoid old version until the final APR was in effect. Now that the final APR is in effect, feel free to use addnode.

I have a few questions regarding moving a wallet from a laptop to a usb

1) Do I need to be logged in (unlock a wallet) to backup... to save the dat.file?
2) what happens to the wallet on the laptop when i save the dat.file? Can I still access the coins on my old laptop later?
3) In general, it would be nice if anybody can tell me the steps LAPTOP --> USB-Stick --> NEW LAPTOP in words and if there is a youtube video which explains it very well.

Thank you!

At the end what is the right way to keep Elite wallet regularly synced? addnode or connect?
I use connect=, and now working well. With addnode= my wallet has been unsynced.

1. Close down your wallet
2. Copy the wallet.dat to your usb stick
3. Copy the wallet.dat from your usb stick to your new laptop

or

1. Close down your wallet
2. Zip the whole .1337 folder
3. Copy the zip to your usb stick
4. Unzip the 1337.zip to C:\Users\****\AppData\Roaming\
5. Open your wallet and let it catch up

And done  Smiley

Hi, answers below,

1) Do I need to be logged in (unlock a wallet) to backup... to save the dat.file?
No, you can just copy your wallet.dat file from your 1337 folder and save it somewhere safe.
2) what happens to the wallet on the laptop when i save the dat.file? Can I still access the coins on my old laptop later?
Not sure i understand your question but nothing happens to your wallet. As long as you have a backup of your wallet, your coins are safe and you should be able to access them on your new laptop.
3) In general, it would be nice if anybody can tell me the steps LAPTOP --> USB-Stick --> NEW LAPTOP in words and if there is a youtube video which explains it very well.

Hi, at this point, you can go back to using addnode. Please refer to this node doc https://goo.gl/SHRuU7 which will be updated frequently. You can also use /Satoshi:2.0.0/ node list from our explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/1337/#!network

Hi, we do not recommend c-cex and yobit and there are warnings to avoid them everywhere. However, feel free to point them to the correct github posted in the OP of this ANN.

Which problems did you mention about Yobit and C-cex? Would you mind giving me more warning details about those two, please. I don't want to lose money on them due to my lack of information.

We tried to get in touch with them regarding the wallet update for almost a year and there was no response from them. Its just not Elite, many other coins are experiencing similar issues.

Idk about c-cex, but i know for Yobit, they have very poor and slow support. Probably they don't update new version of wallet. Many of coins wallets are in maintenance and deposit/withdraw it is often impossible.

I must say that I'm really liking the lower APR, I know a lot of people don't really like a lower APR but I think its for the best moving forward. Even with this lower APR I still plan on giving away Elite coins on Twitter as now the Elite tip bot is fixed and working again. I have given away a couple of tips already and for anyone who wants to earn a tip, all they have to do is make a tweet about Elite coin and make sure they use the hash tags #Elitecoin #Elite $Elite as I check Twitter daily with this hash tags and tip random people with some coins for supporting the project. Thanks for all you have done so far xenonflux!

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Thank you!

Please follow the update instructions provided here https://goo.gl/s65HRK . Please also check tutorial videos from our official youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/1337support

Just want to note that if you create new address in the old laptop, the wallet.dat is changed, and the backup will not have access to the new address.
also if some coins are send out and change is received not sure but they will not be accessible ether. So you should make backup every now and then, so you have the last set of newly created addresses...
