I've been out of the mining game a very long time. I have a couple of 1080 TI's that I've been running nicehash on.

If I wanted to mine this for a bit, which miner should I use for scrypt with these cards that works well with supernova pool?
According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

This a a proper old school mining play
At one point it was getting close to a terrahash of power
Once it hits exchanges it will get to a dollar

Seriously - This stuff is great
Im lovin this OG style launch

there is a bug on the wallet , once you encrypt it , you cant add new receive address, asking for the passpharse and it does not accept it , but the same passpharase unlocks the wallet normally

Works fine on mac.

I actually got the same bug...encrypt and try to create a new wallet address without closing. (Mac OS 10.12.6)

It will say "Can't Unlock Wallet" - At least it did for me.

I simply closed the wallet and reopened it.

Fixed it.

I'm sure a new wallet will be released with the fix for it sooner or later.

( For now anyone with the issue, point them to a helping post such as this one or the other one I've seen )

Been watching the pools all day...

As soon as OC Miner released a pool for XIOS, it took 3 hours or so for everyone to switch over...lol

Getting some major miners hoping online for a few blocks and hoping off.

Love the OG style launch, just like everyone else does...Brings me back to the days when NO PREMINE - NO ICO were the only way coins were launched.

Everyone lets come together as a community and start hitting up other exchanges, and partners and see if we can get some responses.

40MB blocks will surely shake things up, I wonder how many transactions can take place in a block that size. Any estimates?

Anyone here willing to do some graphic design? I'll personally pay people out of my own XIOS stash for some community participation!

Really excited about XIOS!

Cheers,

MasterTrader777

if ASIC miners do not dump, it is going to be a good coin. Looking forward to it.

It would be great do not hurry with exchange.
Perhaps starting masternodes will be the right time.
Any ideas?
