I quit mining coins a while back.. but this project got me thinking of starting all that up again Cheesy

Bad timing to quit mining bro. I was lucky enough to mine XIOS before the Big asic miners came in and just about got my 1000 coins. Now i got a masternode, i just leave it to bring me some more, albeit small amounts but better than nothing. My biggest regret is to not buy more when it first hit the exchange. But, can't dwell on the past now can we? Can't also be greedy. When more people get involved then the value will go up more.
Now the current price is 0.70 cents! Xios will easily beat VIVO in no time!

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Great to see XIOS finally listed on Yobit, now just waiting on CMC to list the coin and we'll be set. I have put a request in at masternodes online to list XIOS but first the coin needs to be listed on CMC. So hopefully it won't be too long before the coin is listed.

where do I get masternode specs?  such as: how many xios needed for mn?  etc

Should be on the first ANN page.

You will need 1000 xios to start a master node. there is a guide on this thread somewhere to help you setup masternode.

What else do you want to know?

Ok i'm going to break it down so you guys can see that i'm not a scam artist.  Open the xios block explorer.
Type 1, press enter.  Look at the date.  First block was mined Oct. 7th 20:07  What's the date on this ann page? October 09, 2017, 02:03:32 PM
blocks before 1440 have 1333x more reward than every other block.

block   100     8th Oct 2017 22:35:20
block   122     8th Oct 2017 22:40:31 - 162k before the announcement page... But? No premine? Must have been announced on bitcoingarden... Nope that's october 11 11:29am.  So where was this announced on october 7th if there's no premine?
block   123     9th Oct 2017 14:36:38  - You definitely stopped the wallet and restarted it with the announcement page
block   500     9th Oct 2017 21:48:53 - 500k more in first 48 hrs
block 1440    10th Oct 2017 17:55:44   1,919,520 mined in 3 days since first block was mined
block 22824  19th Oct 2017 22:53:28   1,976,685 total coins mined in 22 days since first block, yes in the last 9 days only 57,165 were mined.

But hey, I guess facts are fud.

You realize we didn't mine 1.9m coins to ourselves right? Please review distribution. There is no premine, im sorry you didnt get the invite, I didnt get the invite when satoshi nakomoto started mining bitcoin, im not pissed about it. There's no ICO, no Premine, NO Airdrop. I have less than 46k Xios and I'm the dev, our main effort is to grow the community, which is why the majority of our community are MINERS! Xios is already on it's 4th exchange, since inception, our community support feels like a young google in the basement. Get on the Train, or Step Aside.

How do you explain that the first block was mined before the announcement, that's the actual definition of a pre-mine.

We had to insure the chain worked properly, days prior we had issues with the flex blocks before launch.

block   122     8th Oct 2017 22:40:31 - 162k before the announcement page... But? No premine? Must have been announced on bitcoingarden... Nope that's october 11 11:29am.  So where was this announced on october 7th if there's no premine?
block   123     9th Oct 2017 14:36:38  - You definitely stopped the wallet and restarted it with the announcement page

122 block pre-announcement = 162,626 that's NOT "NO PREMINE."

Hey, that's a premine, if you want to build some trust you're going to want to take off the "no premine" and maybe even put it in the announcement that it was for testing purposes.
162k out of the current supply is 8.5% that's a huge chunk.

Lol. 162k is not huge chunk of either the current supply or total supply. Vivo did 1mil premine anf their present supply is 1.5mil. Do your maths!

Right above Do your maths! I wrote 8.5%.  That's math. There are currently 35,000 coins for sale, and only 11,000 in buy orders worth anything on all of yobit and you think that 162k premine isn't huge? The ann page says that there is no premine, so even 1 premine is huge.

@KurtCobain if you don't like XIOS you can mining BTC, DASH or ETH.... OK? i think when coins public all Dev much testing and fix all problem first.

Hey,
I know some people talked about a community fund to get XIOS listed on Cryptopia, Coin Exchange, and Nova. Whats the status on this and does the Dev need our help with this?

Thanks

I don't know, but Yobit is pretty good for now, maybe the expensive exchange fees can wait a bit now. Of course I'd like to see Xios on exchanges like Bittrex, Nova, Poloniex etc but being "stuck" on YoBit isn't the same as being stuck on Coinsmarkets dodgy shitcoin exchange.

The trade volume on YoBit is picking up nicely.

When/ if Xios reaches $5-10 then we all have a lot more money to chip in huge listing fees.

I think Nova should still be a priority though because Npoints are cheap and 10 is one vote, you only need 280 votes, we could easily do that between us all.

Did you untick "unlock for staking only" on the pop-up where you  enter your password?

Trade volume on Yobit has overtook OmiseGo, Decred and others by a huge amount and is more than double Ethereum classic. These are large well-established coins with many users.

Very good start so far, CMC listing will have to be soon.

If people aren't aware I'll just repeat it, Blockfolio already supports Xios, you just have to search for it and sync your phone with the Blockfolio servers.

edit- While writing this huge buys came in, now trade volume is clearly eligible for listing just on this 1 exchange (it's on 4).

If you're watching CoinMarketCap people, please list.

Hello all. I used https://medium.com/@Xioscoin/xios-masternode-how-to-guide-61a964ef7f78 link to setup a masternode. However when i see the ./XIOSd masternode status in the vps, it shows status:9 and  "notCapableReason" : "Could not find suitable coins!". In my local wallet it does say my masternode is running , but the active time always shows 0:00.
I have setup my masternode.conf file and the vps XIOS.conf file as per the link. Could someone please help me resolve this?

That's weird, the forum got all messed up...

My answer was...

Me too, but it's not available to vote on yet. Maybe they'll add it for voting when the volume gets higher on Yobit, Yobit volume is increasing nice. I'm barely paying attention to the price   Cheesy I wanna see the volume keep increasing. I means wider distribution and more people on the Xios train, it also means exchanges sit up and notice.

I think we can at least get it up for voting in the meantime in nova so votes can start trickling in. I have a few votes on nova so won't mind using them.

IS there any info about Masternode ROI?
Also is it Xios wallet on Yobit working well? I want to buy, but on Yobit many wallets have problem with maintenance mode and can't withdraw funds from this exchange.

Yeah it's working just fine on Yobit. I've been day trading a small amount on there and it's fine.

Ask about masternodes here:

https://discord.gg/gvERkT

Most people say 5-8 Xios a day, based on network, but that was a while ago.

I get between 6-8 coins per day. It differs slightly but a constant stream of Xios. Get in before it's too late buddy.

Wow, Nova are rejecting every single new coin it seems.  Huh Huh

https://novaexchange.com/addcoin/

They should disable the voting if they're not taking new coins those votes cost money. I hope they are refunding voters, 'cos if not that's kinda scammy behaviour TBH.  Huh

Looks like a long time before new coins get on Nova.

- Edit, am I missing something, were these all scam coins or something?  Huh

they approves a batch of 5 or 6 and rejected the rest, if you check the anns in coin info they look like they provide no info or are 100% premined

That's what it looked like to me as well, seems like they are total shitcoins though so who knows, maybe Nova had good reasons to reject them all (but one) but I also read that Nova ain't taking new coins on Discord, if that's the case they should disable voting 'cos Npoints cost money.
