Today I read an article in which this information is refuted. On criminal transactions accounted for 1 percent of the total. This is a meager number. So linking bitcoin and crime is irrelevant.

I love it ho mainstream media trys to get the image down from bitcoin with news like this. BUt i can tell you one thing: The Criminals are using FIAT money too for crimes! Shocked? I can tell you more: Some criminals are using kitchenknife for crimes Cmon people, you can use everything for bad stuff, so dont think if bitcoin or oter cryptocurrencies dont esxist, they would be less crimes on this planet

I don't have a doubt on this! if a man or a millionaire wants to hire someone to kill people that he hates most I would rather go to bitcoin and make a transfer as no documents will make him connected to the crime.
bitcoin is one of the most secure transactions that your identity will be kept forever!

I guess my point is it depends on how you use
a particular service. Just because it is used in

The most efficient crime anyone can do through bitcoin is money laundering and only because of this reason many countries are banning bitcoins as their is no link between bitcoin and any local bank so money laundering is the most easiest through bitcoins.

Because of some Unique features like anonymity and decentralization, BTC transactions can't be detected. This helps the criminals to make a financial transaction easily and quickly without much efforts. This is the biggest threat of BTC usage. Govt. also taking this issue more seriously now, and therefore either want to regulate the BTC Transaction or BAN it to remain safe.

Yes, nowadays it’s being used in crime, they buy and sell online and pay by bitcoin. Because it’s untraceable. So police can’t get clue to caught them. I think it’s dangerous.

It will be dangerous depending on the person who are using bitcoins. Bitcoin is a digital currency and it can be used on different payment method online depending on the store but some of the people are using it for drug laundering and any illegal activities, in this case government are worried about their country.

I think no one is using bitcoin anymore because it is not wise to use bitcoin to transfer money.

A lot of crimes are now being very smart in different ways. This is one of the reasons why some governments are having doubts whether or not to adopt bitcoin. we all are making illegal transaction because bitcoin is virtual currency. So if our government can't control bitcoin, hen they will just acknowledge it as illegal and wont accept it. And because bitcoin is not completely anonymous and each transaction could be traced by a police officer though the usage of bitcoin trading websites, and it has been proven that cryptocurrencies like Monero are becoming popular in using dark web such as drugs and human trafficking and even payment for sex traders, with that kind of illegal doings which country would be happy for that right?

Criminals will make a way to make crimes. Since,  bitcoin is an online transaction,no one could trace the money that being transac in bitcoin. Maybe that is the reason why the government of some countries ban bitcoin because they don't want people abused and made illegal transactions using bitcoin.

It's no different to people using fiat money as a medium for drug trafficing and prostitution, the only difference is that bitcoins costs way much and is untraceable after transaction.Everything is used in crimes. gold, fiat, crypto, cash, wires, banks, dont think you can FUD bitcoiun with comments like that my friend.

And that's because it's easy to track people via the public ledger. Most criminals prefer Monero because that is genuinely untrackable.

Anonymity is indeed a feature of Bitcoin, both advantages and disadvantages, its user community is bitcoin anonymous, but some governments or countries is very difficult to accept, in fact, many criminal activities or need anonymity There will be some more anonymous currencies, such as Monroe, Dart and so on

I first learned and heared about bitcoin while doing research on the dark web. Bitcoin was and I beleive still being used as the most popular means of payment in doing illegal transactions on the dark web. But anything in this world can be used on crime lets face it. Should we ban knives because criminals are using it? No, its up to the authorities to do their job. Don't blame everything on bitcoin.

Bitcoin is used for gambling or crime. dark web and bitcane are used. Bitcoin is basically not for these, it is easy to make transactions easier and safer. Who is using the work is completely their case.
