Actually neo gas is good for both trading and long term investment. Its value will increase over time but I don't hold a lot of neo gas even it is profitable in the long term.

I'm not sure. But if you are interested in the NEO project, you should probably just buy NEO instead of gas. Gas will always be seen as a lesser part of the NEO economy than the actual NEO tokens, even though it is still a big part of the system.

Plus if i understand correctly(i'm not a big NEO fan so i could be mistaken), you get gas tokens if you hold NEO, sort of like interest.

no it taking more hard time i don't what to take risk.seriously it is long term investment. but it is good for trading and long term investment.if you are interested in this then you have to buy neo gas.

I would also suggest to buy NEO instead of GAS. Their price is correlating so profit will be +- the same. + if you are rich enough and can buy a lot of NEO you can hold it and get free GAS

How did you calculate this? The amount of GAS you can generate is linked to the amount of NEO you hold. So if you hold a sizeable portion of NEO, you will generate a sizeable amount of GAS.

This must be wrong. I didn't calculate this, but one of my friends is doing this and he's getting plenty amount of GAS. Plus, NEO price goes up very nicely and making profits for the holding it.

Is NEO GAS (not NEO) NEO is a token (share), GAS is the currency that is used in settlements within NEO smart contracts and provides all transactions within the system.

NEO is the coin (platform) and GAS is their token.  GAS is used as the FEE for NEO transactions.

It is generated by holding NEO in your own wallet (and in few exchange wallets-not all).

As more tokens create ICO under NEO platform, the demand for GAS (and it's value) will increase.  It is projected that GAS value/worth may be more than NEO in the future.

It is also worth noting that GAS generation stops at some point in the future and since GAS is burned after each transaction and only a fraction is "re-cycled" it will be a precious commodity if NEO becomes a big success.

I would suggest you to buy 30% NEO and 70% gas. NEO will be a top coin/ platform for 2018 from Chinese markets and a good contender for Ethereum. So you can see a lot of growth from it too and Gas being the token used in conjunction with NEO will make it rise parallely. Generally by trend GAS is 50% of NEO's price. Many exchanges do not provide the GAS that is generated by holding NEO. So it would be good if you store in the NEON wallet. Which supports NEO, GAS and all the upcoming ICO's from the platform.
