Twitter hands down is the best for that kind of stuff (because it's at least semi anonymous unlike facebook) and there's already a pretty big community of Crypto Enthusiasts on there. Facebook is not really a good Platform to promote Coins imo.

Website doesn't look to me professional, IMO anyway. Looks like someone threw there from a bridge some pics and articles and that's it. Please define "will be popular soon".

I like youtube and twitter. Youtube is more visual and twitter is short and easy to understand. I never like reddit but its popular.

Like the title says, i would like some feedback from the experts in this industry, so far i have gathered these 5 most important that seem to be used by everyone, can you add more ways?
1. Twitter 2. Reddit 3. This forum 4. Telegram 5. Slack (which i heard is full of scammers)
Definitely 3. Everyone on this forum is interested in crypto. The more mainstream the platform, the less the average participant will be interested. But these other platforms are probably better for pushing mainstream adoption.

I have accounts on 4 of 5 of them. I think that this are most popular social networks among crypto related people. Which one is the best for promoting ICO is this forum, bitcointalk.org, after that twitter, facebook, slack and telegram share third place. My list is based on payouts from bounty campaigns, highest payouts are for signature campaign on this forum, I noticed that twitter campaign is better paid than facebook campaign in most bounty campaigns. I do not know much about reddit, is it worth it to be active there? Can someone share experience from that forum?

I would go with reddit if i have to chose from one of these but i support every project that's smart enough to know the importance of social media. If you deny the social media you are bound to lose so don't ignore social media and tell about your project,ICO on every social media.

You can also add this to your list:
- Bug Bounty Program; - testing; - support; - moderation.

One thing I want to know first is what country do you specifically pursue or have you a specific country targetted for the ICO project promotions? If you have, then you need to know what social media platforms are commonly used in those countries. For example, if you plan to promote your ICO in Russia, then VK.com is the best network to do so, as most Russian folks favor it over Facebook, which most Americans favor. If you, however, want to promote your ICO in India, then Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and WeChat are the most famous and widely used cross-platform social networking sites/apps there. In the case of China, they prefer Weibo, RenRen, and Youko Tudou; and for Japan, Line, Twitter, and Facebook are what most people used there.

Depending ico it comes from which country. I think for ico coming from asia country, facebook is better than twitter for promotion. But if for ico that comes from europe and CIS twitter would be better, because people there prefer to use twitter than facebook, but it just my opinion. But for the most effective is this forum, because almost all the many investors come from this forum.

I think it's fairly individual, depending on what kind of coin it is, target geomarket and such. Also it's not necessarily all about reaching the highest amount of people. Reaching the right people are more important. Right now, when digital currency is still in its infant phase, I thin bitcointalk might be the best place for promoting. There are so many people that still see digital currency as scary, and that won't change by seeing a post on Facebook. Legitimate sources like big banks or financial magazines will be needed to give it more credibility with not tech savvy people.

I think the best social media to promote an ICO is through twitter because that is the common place where the people go if they want something for an update or news because that is where the majority of the developers and other coins are announcing and placing some news or updates about their currency so i think it is twitter.

I agree with you on Twitter. It has driven much more traffic for ICOs than any other tried methods. Most investors have been known to use twitter to get information on ICOs and it has been pretty awesome for them. This forum too is a very good place. Signature campaigns have been a pretty good way for projects to advertise their products pretty fast. The other ones, most especially slack is a no go area. Slack really needs to work on their platform as the whole phishing thing is getting out of hand.

As described twitter has been suggested by majority of the users who have some good knowledge about the digital assets and the market it holds in terms of capital volume. Though different platforms starting from telegram, slack, and so on were used, the promotion done through twitter is simply big.

All the social media I use to promote ICO, and not to Slack. I suggest not using it. Some cases occur with slack, and the most dangerous is the case of fishing. The fraudsters use it to get email and steal all the coin in the wallet.

I would say Twitter, Youtube, and Telegram. Youtube is great for easy access to learn more about coins. Telegram and Twitter are better for those who are already invested and want to join a community.
So if you wanna get high quantity in page views facebook is essential, though, for quality bitcointalk, twitter and Reddit are much more important. Medium is respectful too, you should check this one too.

I think bitcointalk is also a good platform to make ICO announcement since there are a lot of bounty hunters including twitter, facebook, blog and so on.

If you admin or people behind ICO, I suggest you use this forum for promoting your ICO, Bitcointalk have a great platform to promote your ICO like signature campaign, bounty campaign and advertising auction slot by our admin Theymos. You will get good traffic from this forum in my opinion..
