Alright, as you may have heard, Team Fortress 2 is free and I want to pull something together with you guys; new players and veterans alike. Let's get a group of Bitcoiners together and make our names Bitcoin-related and go to server to server as one team, advertising the Bitcoin cause while having tons of fun at the same time.

Trust me, people always notice when a group sticks as a team with similar names. We WILL get ourselves and Bitcoin known.

Anybody up for this?

Also, for those who don't know what TF2 is: http://tf2.com
"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

Count me in in another difficulty or two.  I'll need to use this 6990 for something.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

I'm itching to play some TF2. I was a TFC addict back in the day, but right now my 5870 is mining. I figure in another week or two I will be up for it, but you could probably talk me into it sooner if someone picks a server to join (or better yet, starts one themselves).

Might I suggest forming a BTC clan?

It should be a clan of retired miners.  After months of hashing away in our uncomfortably hot rooms we can finally retire to a relaxing life of turret management and rocket jumping.

I assume there is concjumping in TF2, no? All these years later, I still recognize many of these maps.

Bah, this is all part of your conspiracy to slow mining growth! Oh well, you got me - downloading now.

Join the Bitcoiner group above and get into the group chat. This is essential or we won't get this off the ground, haha.

Again, get one the group chat or invite me to be your friend, if you can. It seems I have to buy something to make this new account work fully. :\
