How long is group manufacture still open? And how did everything work out with DHL to Germany?


I am honestly biting myself for not ordering before.

Group Manufacturing will close on 31st of May. We have sent few packages to Germany. We are not aware of any issues.

Did we get enough orders to still make this a go at the group manufacturing rates?

I think those are just "regular" orders.  The ones from this group manufacturing purchase aren't expected to ship until July (unless something happens and it can happen sooner).

Hello everybody!

We have closed the group manufacturing and removed the product from our website. The demand is simply too low for Xilinx to make another group manufacturing for this product.

We will manufacture this batch as promised. Everybody who have placed orders and paid under group manufacturing will receive their orders as scheduled.

Sorry to hear there wasn't enough demand, but kudos for still doing this first batch anyway.

So now we just wait for an email to pay the remaining amount?

I'm sorry to hear you closed the group buy as well. 
I'm am/was patiently waiting for the two that ordered to decide how many more I was going to oder in the group buy.
I wanted some hardware in hand before I decided to commit to spending more money on FPGAs.

Would it hurt to leave the group buy up on the website until the last of us receive our current orders, and we see on the ongoing BFL saga plays out.
Many potential orders might not have been placed because of recent BFL activity leading us to believe our miners were just around the corner. 
Frankly, with the last 'chip' news I will be canceling my BFL order and asking for a refund while they still have money.
