Even work experience doesn't matter much these days. And in some companies in my city, they are terminating the old guys and replacing them with the new guys. In addition to the financial incentive, the HR guys are saying that the new guys bring in fresh ideas as well.

I dont think it is neccessary for job but master degree is essential for higher studies like phD

Very good question that I have asked myself many times. Of course it depends on the field, but let's take software development as that is my field. I finished my bachelor studies 2 years late because I started working in a software company on my 3rd year and couldn't juggle both effectively. I knew that most software companies (at least for Web development) don't require any degree, so I was not very motivated to finish my studies. If I could find a great job and advance in it, isn't that practical industry knowledge much better than the theory and outdated stuff they teach at faculty? But I somehow finished the bachelor studies and realised that theory is important to do the job well. Then I was in a position to decide if I wanted to continue with Master studies. I had a great job. I was tired of the academia and how it works compared to companies. So I decided not to go to Master. I'm still happy with the decision, even though I'm always thinking how good it would look on my resume if I for example started a company. So far not one company I worked with even asked me about my education when interviewing. They only seem to care if you have the practical knowledge and skills. Time will tell.

Not always the case if you want to get into a country business you need the degree. My opinion is that if you get a bachelor go get a master. Because with bachelor you are still "medium smart".

a degree doesn't always say something about knowledge or skills....... it almost never does....many people leaving university with degrees are not good educated....also u can get a degree by buying it...some universities only want to earn money.........so  i think degrees will become less and less relevant in the future....

Yes,  it is very important in some profession  like teachers,  it is required if you will handling a higher position in school  but in some cases,  it is not highly needed.

Masteral Degree are only important if you want jobs that pay a good amount for a salary and those degree can give good points for job interviews

I don't think that master degree is that essential to bussiness. Yes you may have more opertunities,but you have to justify your paper which says "I have masters degree in that and that". All in all first month of working says everything about you. So I'd say it does not mean that someone without a paper like that would be bad worker for that company,on the contraty it could be his motivation to do better then these guys with paper.

I think, having a masters degree is not important but its essential. Because there are a lot of institution that would give extre merit or would give higher salary than those who dont have masters degree. So to have higher income id rather choose having masters degree.

Masteral's degree is a leverage, this days companies do hire people who attained higher level of education
in related to the system of bitcointalk and the companies it is somewhat similar
people are credited more because they attained higher level of status
example signature campaign, hirings here etc.
Most companies measures their applicants first on their educational attainment and experience same here on bitcointalk

Actually it depends on your chosen career, just like mine. In my country and in my field of profession, a master's degree is a big help for my promotion especially a doctoral degree. There is a big points for those who graduated in the higher degree. Maybe there are professions that doesn't need master's or doctoral degree.

Professionally speaking, having these degree can also boost your self-confidence and love for yourself.
