If you are going into the lecturing field, then Masters degree is very important. Also its always good to update oneself regularly. Having a master degree is a good step in the right direction

I dont think so. I saw a lot of successful people who have not even finished college. Masters degree and deploma are just Necessity to fit in a society’s requirements but not to success. One can be successful with out them because success is not measured and determined by others but by your own standard and basis.

It depends on every person's goals. A Master degree could open a lot of opportunities for a person, it could bring options for a promotion or a raise. Nowadays a Master degree is more a personal achievement than a career achievement as most of the time a Master is not needed in Companies or you will not find a place that will pay enough money for that level of knowledge. To start a Master degree program it is important to study the "job market" to see if it is going to be enough opportunities to get a job, the less thing you want is to find out there are no jobs after doing such investment. A part-time program would be a good option as you can keep your job and maybe this could help you to pay for the program or move up within the company. In conclusion, a master degree is a big investment, make a decision based on the what you could win with it.
