Do you think that master degree is important? I see that many companies nowadays ask for a master degree but still I know many people who had a job without it. Do you think it is essential?
In some profession, the the master degree is very much needed and is required before one can acquire a promotion at the job place, the employers normally seek those in advanced learning to occup the highest position in the office so if you want go higher on the employment ladder you will need to get higher certificates. |

Depends on the degree. I'm not sure with all degrees but if its just a extra year its probably worth the effort and the grind. You will stand out a little more and shows you have had the motivation to strive for a masters

If it wasn't important for something then it wouldn't be there in the first place. For example: if you want to be a professor or a director of some firm, you'll need to have a masters degree and if you want to be a college professor you need a doctors degree. |

Degree is needed when we want to work and earn a big income, but not all companies implement it, there are many companies that prefer people who are more experienced in their field.
Nowadays college students are only pursuing degrees without obtaining knowledge, many degree are traded

Yes, of course, master degree is important for applying for a job. This is to find out if you are really suited to the job you are applying. This means you are qualified and there is no doubt that you can perform the work assigned to you in case you are accepted.

Yes, if you are competing with your workmates and needs an advantage in your field of work, it is important. But it is not required, it just happen that you hace ab ambition, it is needed. |

It is completely useless if you had spent you time to mine bitcoins back in 2010, instead of pursuing a master degree. With 10,000 bitcoins you could actually ISSUE master degrees...

I'd put experience on the first position, not the degree. But it really depends. Some companies just won't promote without it,or you won't be able to take some of the positions.
And if you're into reasearch you'll really need it.

Everything depends on the desire of the employer. Some need a master's degree, and some do not. Thinking that if the company is seriously hiring you, then a master's degree is simply necessary.

Depends on your job and probably the country you are from. In my country does not really matter only if you have a doctorate you will have a higher payment at job.

I guess so, in some companies if you want to be promoted on your work you will need that degree, I do not why they make things like this it is very unfair with others working passionately

i think its important to have it . Nowadays if you have finish college with a masteral degree , you can easily hired when you applied in a company , because most companies today hired only a college graduate with a masteral degree. But either way most people who has not a masteral degree have good and nice job , with skills most people do ot need a masteral degree to be successfull in life. |

Master Degree is very important for us as individual because it serves as out tool and weapon to move forward in life. Earning big even not having Master Degree should encourage you to take it more than ever to make your mind more flexible in becoming more successful in the future.

Unless you are in to R&D, I don't think that a master's degree is necessary. Most of the IT jobs doesn't require a Master's degree. As long as you know some coding and programming, you are going to be fine. And even if you are having a Master's degree in some science-related subject, I don't think that your salary will increase by much. |

master degree is very important to every one, it can use to move forward best person in the society. most of the people can not interested to doing business. studies is give more respect in the society. so first you have to take step in that. in the world were ever you have to go study is important. in doing business and going to other country's if we have study then we know how to face problems. so we try to study. master degree is really very important. |

In Japan, many people who studied liberal arts(or social sciences) don't have master degree.
At the test for employment,some firm dislike master degree.
Japanese companies are not required experts.
They require generalist at many company.

If you have a master degree, it will be an advantage for them to get accepted in the company they are applying for, in short it will easy for them to have a job. But nowadays, I think for us to have a prosperous life whether you are a degree holder or Master degree its not necessarily needed. But this was just my opinion  |
