I think we may get to $10,000 to $25,000 within Q1 2018. Then some sort of crash perhaps.

In 5 years, I expect Bitcoin will no longer be used for transactions by most people and instead will be a reserve currency held by Central Banks. The price will be greater than $300,000 per Bitcoin.

I've heard a lot of 'experts' recommend holding Bitcoin as possibly the most important part of a cryptocurrency portfolio. Many people expect Bitcoin to continue to increase in value because it's the most established cryptocurrency and it is designed to be deflationary.

We don't know how much the value will increase every year but we have a historical record that shows very good gains over those 9 years even with all of the volatility.

I agree to his explanation. Based on the historical graph especially in the 5 years run, Bitcoin has proved that it can really spike up and become the number one cryptocurrency. Aside from the price value increase it made, there are also external factors that could really bring it down but it still remained. Example is the banning of Chinese government, which really proves that with that big news, Bitcoin can survive and Bitcoin will recover. It did not even have that much of an effect.

For the next 5 years of the bitcoin, I consider that bitcoin will be legalized in some country and bitcoin users’ growing. The value of the bitcoin is higher and I think that all business or any store sounding will accept the bitcoin as a payment. No one can stop the bitcoin as a new currency.

Well, that definitely explains it. I mean, before bitcoin's price used to be only around less than $100 but due to its exposure to the world, it skyrocketed its price until today reaching the $6000 mark. It might be very difficult to predict its price 5 years from now because of its volatile nature, but judging from the historical price charts, I would say that it might reach the $10,000 mark soon ASSUMING that there will be no hard forks, or ICO prohibitions happening (which I think is impossible and inevitable). With all that said, just hold on to your coins if you aim for investing it for long term.

Bitcoin price is hard to predict because they have possible the price decrease or increase. But i think the price of bitcoin after 5 years is 10k dollars upt 20k dollars thats only my prediction. 80% world population would be well known to bitcoin in the next 5 years and mostly will be expert of bitcoin but middle class will not be able to buy bitcoin because as per my prediction the price of bitcoin would have been crossed the future $100,000 that time.

I hope, that time, mostly world’s countries would have been recognized and legalized bitcoin formally and big companies/organization will not accept any other currency except bitcoin. I am seeing new era based on technology.

In 5 years, i think Bitcoin will be widely known in the society, its features and implications in the community. Also increase in number and  greatly affects the lives of people using it.

I am quite optimistic as you are and it is obvious that the value would have increased hugely as a result of mass adoption of the digital currency.

Almost all the countries would have declared where they stand which I believe most of them won't have a choice than accepting it alongside their fiat and see a way they can utilize it to their advantage either by taxing. With this, awareness would have grown so strong than what we have presently.

I can see that in the nest 5 years, bitcoin is already used by many countries and it will be the norm when you pay or buy something in the grocery store or restaurant. Also in 5 years from now, btc price would be $100k.

15k seems low for 5 years from now. It should be around 100k by 2027~2030 if we compare the performance to other tech indices, so 20-50k seems doable in a 5 year span.

15k seems low for 5 years from now. It should be around 100k by 2027~2030 if we compare the performance to other tech indices, so 20-50k seems doable in a 5 year span.

These targets just become the truth when Bitcoin can gets accept from the government, I do not think the Bitcoin community can make Bitcoin reaches to these targets without support from the government. Bitcoin needs to be legally to has more investors.
