There are so many potential altcoin in crypto and if you haven't made profit on your investment, it means you did not select potential altcoins to invest in. Before you invest in a coin, take a very good time to do a research and be sure the coin is a promising one before you will invest in it and also have a target for how long to hold and know when to sell.
Until now I believe the future of alternativecoin is at a good stage because they are still in demand business in the market and at the same time their performance in this industry is getting better and better. |

Well it depends on what altcoins specially if it is for short term . In my view now, I believe that the future of altcoins lies on the success of bitcoin. The dominance just increase and bitcoin has reach 50% dominance this year, that is why we are seeing a bloody market because bitcoin cannot pump hard. |

Investing in the altcoin give profit sure in the long run. Just need to pick good one. Hot for me are ETH and EOS. Still more faith in the ETH will go above 2k$ soon.  |

In my opinion, you have a point but it doesn't mean all altcoins will be affected if bitcoin price gets higher. There are some altcoins will be increase but not so high but profiitable enough. Also, altcoins will depends to there projects on different bounties if it will be successful or not. Good luck my Friend.
