Just curious about the people on this forum. There seem to be a lot of newbies around, like myself. So tell me: how long have you been in the crypto market?

I'm into the crypto market for more than 2 years but there I was scammed before so I decided to quit and when I saw the value of Bitcoin last year, I was shocked of its growth so I decided to give it a try again but this time, I learned from my mistakes. As for your observations about the numbers of newbie accounts, I think most of them are just dummy accounts of other members here.

Getting scammed must suck. Sorry it happened to you. The reason I think there are so many newbie accounts is that the same questions keep coming back like what’s an airdrop or where do I buy a coin? If they were some members dummy account at least they could make their questions more interesting! |

I've been here for a long time but I left a few years due to personal problems but I'm back again and at least the price is getting higher and it keeps me motivated to mine and trade

My first bitcoin buy date still on my mind. 02/03 .01.2014
And spent when we can take aprox 3 people total 5 6 btc on that we have got more money if keep this btc's we are now maybe good postion but still invest to btc or trying
Now : near 4 years .

I first heard about bitcoin all the way back in 2011. I tried to install a bitcoin miner, couldn't get it to work, decided it wasn't worth the effort to figure out how to use Linux just to mine this novel, interesting bitcoin thing, and forgot about it for a year.
Then I heard about it again when it was worth about $6. Didn't bother to buy any.
Got seriously involved after a friend paid a debt off to me in bitcoin in June 2016, in part so I could play online poker. Haven't looked back since.

More then two years now, though unlike some of the people on here I haven't been an active trader for this entire time sadly. I was around before this big Altcoin / Bitcoin bubble started to grow exponentially. Now I'm at the point where I can't bring myself to investing because I think the bubble for both is going to be popping soon.
Bitcoin was around $400 when I started in the market -- sucks to know the amount that I could've made. But that's with me and anything.

More than 3 years, I have also started as newbie but later on found myself quite attached to cryptocurrency. Lost so much in gambling and started trading, now I am making quite good amount just with day trading.
Investing in lots of promising ICOs, already multiplied my money with few ICOs.

I just joined the crypto recently even though I heard about bitcoin since 2011. I never bothered thinking that government won't allow digital currency like that to exist and never bothered. I am kicking myself since I was the only person managing network for the small company and had a plenty of machines/servers that I could've used.

I entered the trading world already since more than two years ago but I never get such a big profit, lol. there is always a profit and no profit phase. |

I have been with crypto over 3 years but my friend said that this forum also able to pay me some bits , just like work for forum to get paid
It's amazing to see bitcoin growth especially when bitcoin almost reach $ 6000 this year !

I have been in the crypto since 2013 and i see a lot of newcomers right now, is this caused by the more news to bring the crypto to be the mainstream in the public. But i hold so many token since long time ago. |

I'm into crypto since more than 2 years ago and after having all the detailed study regarding it I bought my first coin six months later to my entry point. The bitcoin was around 500 bucks I believe or more or less but I did not keep them as there was one fork which troubled the bitcoin and then stated doing panic selling at that time. Lols. Yeah if I had that coin still then I could have made ten times more profit than anything in the trade. However I soon learnt that selling is not the way it work in crypto currency and it's just the holding thing for better profits. I hope that I will not sell my current holdings sooner than 10K hit. :-)

I will celebrate my two years of buying my first Bitcoin in March, 2018. This has been the life changing decision in my life, crypto is now a big tool for me and I have been able to do what it took some people years to achieved in few months.

It is been more than 2 years since i started researching about cryptocurrency and have actually started trading before 2 years.
I thank my friend for talking to me and helping me to understand about such profitable technology.
Beleive me,crypto trading has changed a lot in my boring life, without it. There is nothing more valueable in my life than cryptocurrency.
