In a bizarre incident, A Russian tourist had to beg for alms near an Indian temple after he could not access his cash due to a blocked ATM.. Roll Eyes
How would this have turned out if he had bitcoin or access to it? No fuss hey. Just a small transfer from a friend or using his own safely put away paper wallet/ trezor etc.
Cryptocurrencies can really solve a lot of cash related issues pfor tourists. The absurd fees and rules on forex make it a nightmare. Here's the link to the story:
