Bitcoin reaching $10,000 worth is possible this year.

Base on the current upward trend of bitcoin in recent time don't you think it is possible that bitcoin value will reach $10,000 in the nearest future? As for me I'm optimistic that bitcoin will reach $10,000 before end of December, 2017. And I believe that the sailing will start by November after Sewig2x. Do you agree with me?

Surely it will reach to K but I'm not sure whether it can happen in this year itself. I think after the fork bitcoin prices will correct to some extent before again move up.

The current events can make us think that bitcoins would even reach for 10,000$ for this year since bitcoins has been pump up today and this early pump will not be stop until the hardfok comes but I really don't know if the pump will continue or it will stable to 6000$-7000$ after the hard fork done. But on the other side november and january is somewhat a peak season for bitcoins and maybe we could see it pumping on that way.

No, I don't think so it will happen this year. Yes it will reach to $10,000 but maybe it happen next year. I would presume this year it will reach up to $7000. But we really don't know for sure. What I am sure about is that it will continue to rise as the years go by. So better hold bitcoins today and gain big profit tomorrow! Long live bitcoin!

Looking back at the previous hard fork that just happened where bitcoin doubled its price aftet fork, then it might possibly happen also in this coming hard fork. So the 6000$ might become 12000$ in the following months. Bitcoin demand is increasing and for this reason bitcoin price may also increase. There is other situation that might happen after the fork, possibly the bitcoin value will be stabled in the 6000$-10000$ mark. Whatever the situation will be, lets hope for a better future for bitcoin.

I hope so, but I don't think bitcoin price will hit $10K at the end of the year. Bitcoin price will go up steady and $10K is possible but not in short time. I have plan to dump all my coins if bitcoin price at $10K++.

Definitely, this is my thinking also that we will hit $10,000 by the end of the year although I don't think it will be a continuous rise until then, i think after the forks we will see a dip but ultimately we will get to $10,000 by year end.

I think it is not possible by December, it will take some more time to reach more than $10,000. If it suddenly increases already many big companies are saying it is just a bubble so move forward with other share markets. So it is always good for Bitcoin but it should not grow the value suddenly.

it is possible, but i think banks are buying bitcoin and i hate to say it but eventually they will have a negative impact on  crypto market prices.

It would be better if it didnt hit 10,000 this year but took more time.  The reason mainly is that price is built better on volume, distribution and as many people as possible involved.  Preferably bitcoin should be rising on trade and growth in utility, if price rises this year this month even to 10,000 then it was speculative and possibly excessive volatility which is basically destructive.   Its ironic, the higher price could cause more harm then good even if people believe they are profiting, the actual trade is what is important and contains the worth that backs the economy of use.

Its definitely possible even if not positive.   Price can rise very fast but its most unstable when doing so, I would prefer it spent 3 months at 5000 that alone is massively positive.   Anyone around btc for any time knows its already gained enough right now

Anything is possible but I think that chances of Bitcoin to reach 10000$ this year are very low. Bitcoin will show a tremendous rate of growth after hard fork for sure but I don't that the pump will be so big to take but ok to 10000$. It might reach around 7500$ by end of this year and it might reach 10000$ by end of next year.

Saw the price reached 5999 on Okcoin! 10k may be coning sooner than most people are currently anticipating.
Many people were pretty sire 10k+ was just around the corner in 2013's run, now it's nearly 2018 and price has yet to hit 10k even as btc starts slowly breaking into the mainstream.

That would be insane, mainly because of the fact that it would mean that this market has increased with 900% this year alone ~ such increases are mostly only seen when it comes to altcoins.

I am already happy if we manage to keep our position above the $5000 mark, because we still have November coming closer and closer. It's quite an important event that might potentially get the market to sink again.

Realistically speaking, I would like to see $10,000 happen next year. It would give the market enough time to get used to such levels ~ I always prefer a more stable growth over a short lasting peak.

Not until late next year in my opinion. There's no way we can keep this momentum up. It also coincides with the upcoming fork, so it's certainly possible for its value to stall after that.

A lot of the wall street people are thinking for a twice to invest in bitcoin and some of them already provided hundreds millions dollar to invest in the crypto. I think that should be possible in my opinion.

i honestly don't know what to think of that. it would be a dangerous territory and i can go as far as call it a big bubble.

this is why i say $10k this year is impossible. bitcoin is nothing like the pump and dump altcoins, you can't even pump it that high. the market is too big for things like that. there will be a big sell off if price reaches higher prices that this. also there needs to be some new money coming in. and so far i don't see that happening more than current trend.

I think BTC to 10k this year, although possible is highly unlikely. It is too far of a jump in my opinion from the 3k which we had only a few weeks ago. 10k more likely sometime in 2018.

Maybe 10k USD is too farfetched but 7k seems possible by the end of this year according to the current growth rate. But who knows , false news and rumors are enough to get prices of btc to fall.
