if you already got many loss from your altcoin, you cant do anything, just hold the rest of your altcoin and pray the market recover so it can cover your loss, if you sell while you loss around 80%, then you became a perfect loser.  |

This is a very old post. Do we even have updates to the man who originally posted it? I don't even think that guy is participating now. Too disappointed to have invested in alts. And since he posted it in October, imagine bitcoin going to the ceiling in December, and he was not on it.

I think you should wait and wait for the market to recover. You should not sell all of them and become scared of the Crypto market. It is an act of failure. You need to be patient with your portfolio. Surely the Crypto market will be recovering by the end of 2018. Your money will be recovered.  |

Invest in a coin that is not in the top 100 in coinmarketcap is an unreasonable decision, although bitcoin is now falling. In general, the ether is the right choice.

if you have chosen coins with good growth potential then you should not sell them and wait for them to grow in price.
With the current market conditions any coin that has the potential to reduce value and very clearly only hold back the easiest thing we do, but if we just keep holding without income then we will suffer huge losses, it will be good at some time. like this market, we look for altcoin with the lowest value or altcoin which is only listing in the market and buy it because token potentially rises very high. |

you are not the only one that is seeing the prices and the values of their altcoins dropping. All of the coins in the market have taken a hit which is why you see threads that keep telling people to hold their coins. The truth is you are not the only one losing money so hold your coins in wait for the prices to go back up just like everyone else.

You can conclude that your Bitcoin's 80% was lost because you calculated it with current Bitcoin's value. Diverting your Bitcoin to Altcoin isn't a good idea because Bitcoin price is now very high and Altcoin yet still on the ground.

if I think the coin you are holding is a good coin, so the number 100 to the top row in Coin Market Cap.
-DGB: number 49.
-SIA Coin: number 35.
-Stratis: number 39.
and I'm sure the coin will continue to rise, just do not know when its time just started in the pump.

This is what happens when you get too greedy. Why did you invested so much of your coins in the alts? Ideally you should have invested less than 30%. And for little known alts such as Siacoin, I would say you should not have invested more then 10%. Now there is hardly anything to do. Book your losses and pull out of these coins. |
