I tend to share my EPL football bets right after I made the bet.  Dunno why I do it, it's just fun for me.  And it's to get some validation I guess...

The tipster usually input a link of the match where they can bet and that link is a referral link. When a whale follow his tips and win, sometimes the tipster get a tip from the whale. Or its just a hobby for the tipster and no need money from it.

There may be a few reasons why people doing this.Some just post for fun and hope they win,so if someone follows their pick and win maybe he/she send some nice tip.Others post some picks for free and also offer pay service,if users see he/she have a high rate of wins they will try with pay service to get better picks.There is also many who post just for make some money from signature campaign.

I do not see how tipsters lose profit because they post here or on twitter,they usually play bets before in case that odds go down.There is so many bookmakers today,it is easy to find best odds but it is not easy to win

There's not more then a few people that will follow your tips with significant investments, and when they do they probably won't even use the same bookie.

They only give free tipsers for some games after you interesting to follow them then they will ask you to be a member to get some match tips and it's not free, they seem to do it for free but again it's just their marketing strategy and their main goal is money .

maybe they only want to share what they know to other people and it is good to them because they can reach more people and if necessary they can be a good friend in the end. i think this will give both side a chance to know what is the advice from the knowledgeable person about the game and the other people can know that he can get free info from this person. the other side, this person can be famous among the other tipsters.

They start as free services after building reputation, they will convert their services into a paid one. I have seen many people has done this. Usually I do not follow free tipsters but I do paper bet with them to check their predicting capability as part of fun.

You can see many traders also giving free tips on trading calls. But that is with reason of creating new market wave. Unlike betting, when more traders do take similar decisions then they can bring new changes.

Some tipster give out free picks so they could start selling out their paid picks once they have a good record. Not a fan of paid picks because it reduces your profit overtime and there's no gurantee of the pick winning.
