For me Keep half of your bitcoin and the invest in altcoin, just selected altcoin with a good project and trusted team, for me i prefer the top 50 coin on coinmarketcap, then invest some in coin with low marketcap and have a good project and team just do some research before you invest.

if you only give 2 choices then I would prefer to buy bitcoin rather than litecoin because with bitcoin you can benefit from utilizing the rising and falling price of bitcoin which is obviously very advantageous because the total supply of bitcoin is also very limited and only slightly.

I am also looking for bitcoin great improvement and on how does i may be able to make the most special on it to be that bitcoin has a greater future so from the start this is where i wanted for. But this is for everyone of us opinion only just based also on what would probably that we may have to choose for.

i will rather invest altcoins thru ICO for sure, nowadays many good ICO come with great projects. they make it different from other and will return more benefit for investors, but be careful there are also many scammer on ICO...do some research and make a good decision to invest on ICO and trust nobody. So this depends on the trend now, because the trend of altcoin this month is predicted to rise so for now altcoin is better for investment buy and hold until the end of the month, bitcoin is also very good but because if we see the percentage increase in bitcoin it looks small because the price which is high, but at altcoin its increase is much greater then it would be profitable in altcoin.
