I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?

Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?

Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!

Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!

Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?

My frustration is BIG.

Important to every person is also the visionary now Bitcoin is $ 5,800 the moment you post the post but now i am answering you were $ 6,717 by the gap not so long. And at $ 5,800 you would not buy and hold it if two or three years of it's price would be $ 30,000 on a Bitcoin then you sit and piss and not. Time will change everything, and life will change as we change. Now you can handle a large amount but a year later i think it is impossible and not too late now than Bitcoin and ETH can buy.

You may be somewhat late to the gathering yet allegorically the gathering isn't finished. I don't think that you are too late to enjoy a party with crypto currency. Many of us regret treating bitcoin as a joke when you could mine many coins per day with an average CPU. But the crypto scene is still very very new. There is one important point. Perhaps now some young project sells their coins at $0.01 and you again miss the opportunity while your thoughts are in the past.

I think you are not too late to join with the party because there are many coins that still not increase but soon, after one or two coins increase, the market will increase and perhaps, it will make a new high price again. so you better to hurry before it's too late and you don't have a chance to join with the party. make sure you still have money, just in case if there is a fast dump for the coins so you can buy at the very low price.

now almost (October 14, 2017) one year from your post but is is proved that you are not late for the party after your post BTC flew to $22000 and ETH $1600 and now it dump to $7000 and $300 but it is nature of the market..I think still not late for the party, but keep it mind to choose a good developing small coins to invest other than investing BTC and ETH..
