Not for now personally, as I'm usually holding when there's a big drop in bictoin price. I know in long term bitcoin will rise, so I keep what I have and wait for the price to go up again. My biggest loss was done in gambling, but it has nothing to do with bitcoin price.
Your question is more accurate for alt coins I think.

If you mean if i had lost some money on trading, yes, of course that i lost some money in there.
But i had bigger losses on forex trading, it was in July i remember, and i was in a short position over USD/GBP, and the price was only going up, from 1.22 to 1.30 in a few days.
I lost more than $500 in there, it was one of my biggest losses in forex trading.
In altcoin tx i didnt had much losses, only trading with eth, but not much money.

When there is a huge drop, it is very scary. However, it is usually always linked to some news concerning bitcoin. It may be very hard to keep buying when the price plummets 10, 20, or even 30% overnight. But that may just be the best time to buy.

for now do not personally, as I usually hold when there is a drastic price reduction bictoin. I know for a long time, bitcoin will go up, so I save what I have and wait for the price to go up again. My biggest drop was made in gambling, but it had nothing to do with bitcoin prices.
Your question is more accurate for the alt coins I compare.

Yeah I do experience having some loss in trading because of the alt coins that I buy is dumping so big at -50% on both alts. But still I have my faith that it will be recover soon. Though I loss some btc still its USD value is the same because of the pump of BTC. I don't panic on that issue waiting to pump alts again. I'm still continue to invest on bitcoin.

Yes, I lost 1 bts investing in a scam project, but it was in 2015 and bitcoin was not expensive. I do not think it's a very big fee for the experience.

I had a loss in the beginning days of my crypto trading. I made almost 50% loss of my investment by taking part in pump and dumps.
I thought this is the opportunity to make a good profit but little did I know it was a threat to me. I accepted my fate and move on from it.
I never took part in pump and dump since then but I continued trading after a break. I learnt a good lesson from my mistakes and that's what makes me a better trader now.

Yes, I experience losses when I was new in trading. I bought a pumped coin and lost about 30% when it dumped. Fortunately, I sell in time as the price plunged to 70% lower than my buying price. Since then, I am careful not to buy without research or knowing the reason for price pump.

That happened to me on August 1, after read so much that bitcoin will be split into two and that price would go down, I panicked.  I saw that bitcoin price gradually goes down.  And I just being patient and wait that it will goes up again.  Apparently after two days it continue to goes down then I started to sell all my bitcoin because I am loosing a huge one.  After just an hour, bitcoin price goes back and I was really disappointed to myself.  I just thought that it is part of it and that I learned a lesson.  Be patient.

luckily not, but in case of instant drop (not likely) you should be at the right place (in front of your pc) at the right time (as soon as the price is dropping); in this remote case i would hold waiting for the prices to raise (as it's always happening with BTC).
I would use my brain and buy some more while the price is low, usually drastic drops happens some announcements/news which can mine the mental sanity of the casual traders

Everyone who is involved with Bitcoins long enough has experienced some kind of loss and things like this happen but the issue is how you deal with this, how you compensate the loss and what have you learned from that in terms of future decisions.
Personaly I never had huge losses but I have experienced price drop many times and now I now that volatility is inevitable process.

Not really huge but I lost quite a lot when investing my assets to Lumens & Ripple I bought them at the highest price and sold them by a considerable price difference because I could not hold it for a long time on both coins and by that time I had to pull it into cash because I need.

As of the moment, I had losses but in a very minimal amount, for I read that to start in trading you need to start small. I used those losses to earn the knowledge that I have right now,  with that I think I had more winnings than my losses. The world of bitcoin is all about the news, we just need to follow it for us to know trend of the prices. We need to master our emotion for us to concur bitcoin, that I believe is the first step to be successful in this business.

I'm currently experiencing huge loss in altcoin trading. I invested Bitcoin and their current value is less than half of what I've invested. I have no worries because my goal is for long term trading. I'm sure that my coins will recover after a few months or hopefully after a few weeks. Since altcoins are down now, my focus is on ICOs.

I have taken huge loss in trading and it's not a new thing. Though each loss you encounter gives you experience on how to avoid it in the near future. As you know you get better by constant practice which is trading in this case. The first loss i encountered in Cryptocurrency trading emptied my portfolio and i was still able to get back in the game. Trading is a game of mind, I know what i want so i create strategies before entering again to avoid such mistakes from ever repeating itself..

Such things are very happening to me, especially when I trade and do arbitration. with waiting time for transfer of funds from one exchanger to another and when the price often dropped drastically and made me lose a lot.

This has not happened to me when trading, but I lost big this summer when I cashed my 0.54 bitcoins for 1400 USD (when the price of bitcoin was around 2800 USD). Now I would have had a little less than 3000 USD in my account (not taking into account the 0.177 bitcoin that I earned since I cashe out). This was a lesson to remember for me. Now I learned my lesson, and I'll hold all of my bitcoins that I earn for at least 5-10 years from now.

Well, I dunno if you going to agree with me, but I once sold bitcoins too early and the price increased with $400 within the

first few hours after I sold some, so in my opinion I lost $400 per bitcoin. At first I was pissed at myself for being too quick

on the trigger, but then I realized... the price could have dropped by $400 and then I would have lost $400 per bitcoin.  Roll Eyes

Fortunately, this has not happened to me. I keep all the money in bitcoin, while he is growing confidently up. Although there were times when I thought that I would lose everything - the moments, the code bitcoin fell heavily in price, but now I understand that this is normal. The risk of losing money is only among those people who contribute money to the altcoyins that are traded on the exchange. I prefer to just watch how my deposit grows, slowly, long, but growing.

I am pretty new person here and for now I only saving all those payments that I have ever got. I would like to try myself in trading, but how to know when the price is going to raise or to fall? That's the biggest mystery to me to predict the new move.
