It's probably an ok computer for someone who just wants it for the basics, but it's a different processor architecture than the current models so you wouldn't be able to run many newer programs. In spite of that, old Macs may hold value better than your average crap computer. If you want to know how much they sell for, why don't you check ebay or craigslist or something?

There not worth much, they have some value as something interesting being ppc otherwise they're a technological dead end.
