Because people thought that bitcoin is scam but it is not, mostly the Government is the one who hates it for example is china , they have banned ICO crowd funding with their own personal reason. The other reason is they been scammed for so many times that is why it change their perspective on bitcoin.
A good opinion and I agree with your opinion. indeed many people think that bitcoin is a scam but no, most governments are sometimes acting high officials who hate about funding from ICo so they have been scammed for so much so bitcoin can die slowly. |

I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin? is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?
whos that MANY PEOPLE that youve mentioned?from what sector they stand?because as far as i experienced people that ive talked about bitcoin is either have no interest or will have interest.but they never say a word against bitcoin ,im wondering where did you get that statistic.even those who has been interviewed on local newsthay claimed bitcoin is a scam have no direct word agaisnt bitcoin.so pls stop pointing fingers lets just do our job here,make money and enjoy the crypto |

Lack of knowledge could be one of the reason why bitcoin is not accepted by every person in the society. And for me this is just normal to happen to anyone who has not enough knowledge into something being brought up. That is why it is very important for everyone of us to be able to share what we know so that more people will accept the usage of bitcoin.
I am truly agree that lack of knowledge is one reason why some or other people are against bitcoin. That's why one of the responsibility of us who know what bitcoin is to explain to them the true meaning of bitcoin, although all things has the advantages and disadvantage so it is better to told them the both sides of bitcoin. So instead of judging them also by how they judge bitcoin let's make them a clear understanding about bitcoin. Some people really do not know what they are saying because they more likely believe to other people opinions which is not a bitcoin user rather to believe a bitcoin user. They think bitcoin is just a scam or not legit which is not true. They do not know bitcoin is good source of income that can help a single person to provide it's needs. |

I think they don't see the big picture of bitcoins. People will always reject something they don't fully understand so it's quite a relatable experience that you had with people who don't like bitcoins. It doesn't necessarily mean it scares them, they just resent the idea of investing in the internet rather than investing in banks where they actually see money involved. Whereas bitcoins, have better and bigger profits.

Yes I agree with this. Some people thought about bitcoin that it was a scam it was illegal because the government didn't approved or accept bitcoin as a legal means of currency. But then, I am hoping that someday that bitcoin will become a legal matters not here in my country but also in the whole world. |

when a new thing comes in market majority do not accept it without any research,they traditionally belief that it is not possible,it may be fraud,it wastage of time.once it go boom and finally become our need people realize that should be adopt,its a psyche of human being,when they do not know then blame it.Other hand quick adopter people always try new things and to be used them,If literate the people regarding bitcoin and give a way that how to invest in it majority of people will be in favor of bitcoin.

There are may be two kind of people- one kind of are those who have lack of knowledge on bitcoi, crypto currency and other kind of are governments who are too much greedy to let people have their financial freedom.

You know, sometimes, people hear blockchain and think bitcoin, and then think "a bubble". Meaning, these are three different words beginning with a 'B' with totally different meaning, but a lot of people just don't get it. So my answer is: they just don't always understand what they are talking about. Like in 1993 parents would discourage their children from working in internet projects because 'it's just porn'. Nowadays we are in the same state of mind phase towards bitcoin and blockchain. This will pass. Soon.

Most people don't understand what is bitcoin. They think simple. Somebody told them it is bad because... And most people will not research it. They want simple answers. Most of us actually don't understand what are blockchain and smart-contracts at all. Let's be honest.  Theese technologies based on: math, economic, sociology, psyhology and many different topics. It is hard to figured it out quick, it takes a lot of time. And also people can be easily scared by the terms: "bubble", "ponzi theme" etc. |

Yes I think some people are against bitcoin, but there are others that are not actually against it, but they are skeptical about it. They don't know or they have no idea about it. People are afraid to something they don't understand. Also, maybe some of them are just scared of changes and just comfortable in their safe zone. They don't want to try new things.

Because they are not fully informed or educated about it. It is normal for many to be quite skeptical about things they don't understand. Because if they did, then they would have seen the great opportunities Bitcoin has to offer and the beauty of participating in such a system. We could not really blame them for being such and it is not something that can be forced. |

Can be jealous or afraid of bitcoin, because bitcoin may be able to beat the value of the country's currency. In general, bitcoins are tax-free, this makes governments and entrepreneurs who do not invest or disagree with bitcoin against bitcoin.
I think they are not jealous or afraid, ignorance it is and the other factor is, they invest and they fail to take profit. Most failed investment especially in bitcoin happens when a person jump in and does not do any research about it, saw the market failing and easily got shaken and sold their holding at a lost, then hating Bitcoin for their entire life. Others is personal agenda. |

This is absolutely right most people who have no knowledge in bitcoin are the people that hate/against bitcoin if they understand the system in bitcoin they will realize that bitcoin have a bright future for everyone and because of no information/knowledge in bitcoin many people that trying to invest in some ponzi scheme are fail to gain profit and turn their investment into scam. |
