What I like about these threads is how everybody's smart when they make money and unlucky when they lose it while spreading the hold bullshit.

It's never the opposite, I never hear "hell I was lucky when I bought this coin that went up" or "I was dumb when I bought it".

Never, everybody acts as a smart ass.

The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?

Well i keep holding my altcoin, its not the right time to sell it because its in a very low price. All i can do is to wait, wait until the price comeback again, if not its ok because that's part of life. We need to accept the reality that not all coin are always up.

That's the market. Short-term trends can and will reverse all the time, back and forth.

But in the long-term, I am sure the trend is only one: general (yet not all-embracing though) growth. The trick is to understand in due time what exactly coins will not only survive but will also grow and moon... But again, that's the market.

The only people who shall loose are the impatient ones. The people who have been around or the ones who know about market cycles will stick to their positions and sell when the markets are high. This said, the panic is definitely real this time.

It's quite OK for cryptocurrencies- fluctuations has always been around- stay calm (I know it's hard- I'l feel like selling everything every time, but still). We have to hold the assets and than sell when the market is bullish. Know that it is not the best strategy, but it works for me

Alts are not dying, but people are really rushing to get the new bitcoin fork as if it really is some kind of gold. These people will be the ones who will be againg buying into alto at 2x or 3x the price at which they are selling now. For me its a hold on my alt positions!

Don’t lose hope brother. Business is all about patience. There are some good times and after that from nowhere you are encountering with bad times. This is life. These coins have strong market so don’t worry they will just come back to their position.

These are normal dips and you must know dips are necessary for better shooting up of price. Don’t worry, things will fine soon.

Just the market is not good, in the next wave of bull market arrival, there will be a good price
Yeah the market is the best thing in the coins and the value will be more than this so the time is the perfect yet try to invest in the bitcoin because the bitcoin is the only currency that is getting high day by day. Soon all the people will use the bitcoin and they will make the bitcoin go high and the future of the bitcoin is bright because it is not dying while the other currencies are dying day by day.

Not all the time. We do see some price patterns but they are not always correlated to each other. All coins now are mostly on greens now but yet bitcoin is on decrease which was somehow an expected things to happen after the fork and now funds are going back to alts. For those who did panic on their altcoin holdings are surely regretting as of now yet those are already recovering up.

I don't like to see red color on the crypto market, either.
But there are still coins which are alive! The status of all market doesn't change so much. The reason is trash stuffs.

Not totally since the fork has come to an end other coins are showing some life right now and they are rapidly pumping in just a few hours, maybe this is the best call to buy altcoins because i am quite certain it will get back to what it is left behind before the hard fork.

Nothing new actually. It's normal for alts to go red when BTC is surging up, but when the forks ends, I'll go green again so I suggest to take advantage of this situation and buy alts.  Grin

a great time to invest in altcoins. and look for potentially altcoins such as ethereum. now is the time to buy altcoins.

Just wondering which alts will be the best buy in? I see a lot suggesting ethereum so what others?
Lets hear some opinions. I know they will rise again no doubt, some will even go into a bull run at some point
I think the insane crazy runs in Bitcoin are over, gains will be slow over time but in alts it could be quite different at any moment
I heard one investor say expect 80% of investments to either loose break even while 20% will take off.

Like every investment everything is gamble you are putting your money or coins on some opinion here. Nothing can be make good unless you research little, many tip on some stable altcoin ethereum ripple monero, and some ICO that had been successful and some that might be the right pick. Its hard sometimes to tell where to put money or bitcoin as an investment, but sometimes when there are so many option better is to stay all in bitcoin, safer that way.
