Abstract
Trive™ solves the problem of fake news. Trive™ is a social science consensus engine that researches and clarifies facts through Human Swarmed crowd wisdom. We incent people to do primary research into news stories, compensate them with our own Token, Trive Token, and hash/stash the results on the Block-Chain.

Trive™ creates a Nash Equilibrium incentive structure for the research into news story claims. An antagonistic relationship between researcher and verifier creates a checks/balances process that reinforces research quality.

Trive™ creates a feedback loop to media companies who monetize your attention. By reducing their revenue when they aren’t honest, we can send a strong signal that “The truth is the truth no matter who speaks it."

That exact frustration is why David Mondrus developed this project.

His concept to hash and stash the Trived facts onto the blockchain is pure genius, imo.
Just as conglomerates can't stop bitcoin and governments can't claw it back, there's no clawback of the facts once they're on the blockchain.

They can lock us in any embassy they like for as long as they like.
It won't matter.

Whatever got them riled is already on the blockchain.

Hey Pashu, great question and thank you for asking. Yes, I'm ready. I was born in the USSR and witnessed their propaganda first hand. Imagine my concern and anger when I started to see it in the US.

During the last election cycle 96% of all donations went to 1 candidate. That is NOT unbiased news. 6 corporations own 95% of all US media. THAT is NOT unbiased news. 243 executives control the media stream for 300 million americans. That's one for the size of San Francisco. That is not UNBIASED news.

And that is why we've designed the system as a DAC, so that we're not the deciders of the truth either. So we can't bias the results ourselves. So that even if threatened, we physically cannot change it. Like Bitcoin. It's the only way this survives long term.

The beauty of the way this project is designed though is that no matter what happens to anyone on the team, the Trived articles and research cannot be clawed back off the blockchain.

Threatening us would be like breaking a livestreamer's camera, only more futile.

We've seen how whistleblowers and exposers of the underbelly have been hounded and worse.
The difference is that with Trive none of the team s needed for the truth to be spoken.
